God's Saving Grace Saved A Life Today

Something striking and very shocking happened today after our fellowship, we almost lost a student to a heart attack, I was devastated, confused didn't know what today would have turned out to be if not for God's intervention....

Our God works in a mysterious ways, I can't explain, you see today before the fellowship was about to start since we usually have it in a class room and the student there are boarders so some of them joined us, I then ask one of the student to lead us in praise and worship and while we were done with everything, I was just hanging around talking with some of the student, when one of the student complained to me that she had a chest pain, i quickly prayed with her.

In less 30 minutes, I heard a cry from the class rooms and it was the girl i've asked to lead us in praise who led us in praise, which I prayed for not quite long, I ran to her, she was crying holding her chest, it was so severe and uncontrollably painful, I didn't know what to do at that moment.

I ask the student about their medical centre, they told me its not functioning, their sick bay was out of order, wasn't working and that no body was there at the time, when I asked about her meds they told me her meds has finished, and this was true cause earlier while I was talking with her and she complained to me about her chest pain, I asked about her meds she told me its finished.

What do I do now, this girl was right before me struggling for life, the pain was becoming unbearable, I was confused, we quickly carried her outside, that's when one of the student ran to their lodge and came back with some syrup the only drugs left, by now this girl has fainted and we were just trying to resuscitate her, a friend of mine brought water and poured on her that's when she bounce back and I gave her the drugs and she became calm few minutes later.

There was a moment I didn't know what was going on, I was so scared we were going to loose her, But God prevailed and came through for us, no body was around to offer help, medics was not working and so I imagined what would have happened if that girl didn't see that syrups, I give God thanks for saving her life.

I don't know how God works, but he sure works in a mysterious ways that baffles our senses, could it be that I asked her to lead us in praise and she did and that was her saving grace?....

One thing I know for sure is that God will never leave us nor forsake us in our dear times of need, he said if we call on him he will answer and will show us great and mighty things, he also told us in John 14:14 that whatever we ask in prayers if we believe it will be done unto us, I saw God come very strong for us today by saving the life of that little girl today, I return all GLORY to Him The Almighty, may his name be continually praised Amen
