A HEART FOR HUMANITY
I will likely talk about an artist in Nigeria who has been dominating the music space since he eventually began, he's someone you would literally know is driven by his raw passion for music, but then this guy has so risen above the art of making music to dominating every other space..
Now if you are a Nigerian or have being or followed the Nigerian systems you will understand that we have the population, like the number is there which is literally like the market, so one key thing about this artist is that he understands this reality and has been actively consciously intentionally pushing his musical career with all energy at home here and diaspora and as you must know Nigerian are literally everywhere like all over the globe so this also gives him leverage on the world map, most especially he's doing this from home...
Not just that this guy who is born into a wealthy family despite that amount of wealth and name the family has he is a die-hard hustler, taking up his passion like there's no tomorrow....
But then that is not the reason for this post, here's why....
His Heart for Humanity.....
Do you know what it feels like to be born into wealth, do you know the pride and ego and attitude that comes with having the name and wealth such as the Adeleke's one of Nigeria's most prominent families, but then using this privileges so well that its paves and open massive doors personally, if you understand how music business works especially in Nigeria you will get it that its such a big business , that's what most big names like Donjazzy understands about music business.....
However let's not digress.....
So why Do I get to love this guy called Davido
You see I never really like him that much not like I'm a fan of circular music that much but then this guy draws my attention to what's he's all amount, now he's someone who's really passionate about music but then he goes all out for it, thats not why I'm talking but him, it's his attitude of given,.
If you understand how wealthy people live , all concern about growing and building their business, ensuring that their net worth grows, you will get it,
What caught my attention was his given attitude began when he started donating yearly to orphanages all over Nigeria about 300million or more and intentionally increasing that figure yearly, not just that....
What baffles me more is his Level of humility.....
Just yesterday I read of a popular Nigerian traveller and YouTuber tales of a story how he was almost stranded but then this big celebrity pull over, tho there was barely space in the car, had to adjust and make space for him to hop in....
Somewhere last week his manager and friend of 13 years got married and you need to see this guy go all out for his manager, what I'm I saying if you know celebrity lifestyle, the ego and pride that comes with it, not to talk of being born wealthy and having so much influence but yet so Humble, yet has a heart, a big heart for humanity, yet so easy and free with almost anyone who comes across him, this just a few instances of lot and many other good will Davido has done to Nigerians in and out of the country......
One thing with me is Humility which is an attribute i learnt from Jesus Christ , despite being the son of God chooses to be born in a manger where animals sleep, ....if I found this trait in a person for get it you won my heart and I wish we all can relate as human can have this, instead of feeling too lofty about every little amount in our pocket or bank account, no matter your status the life you live will me measured in the impact you've had in the lives of others and this will become the legacy that you leave behind......
