Being a peacemaker according to the Bible (Part 1 of 4) | The Old Path

According to Matthew 5:9, "Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God." KJV However, we need to understand who a peacemaker is before they can be seen to be sons of God. While listening to brother Eli, I learned that every man can do two things which includes either evil things or what is good. Also, every mankind has the freedom to do either what is good or bad.

Furthermore, brother Eli related the choice of men with the way the brain functions; understanding that the hypothalamus in the brain region have a special attention for a thing or discourages us to have an attention for a particular thing. It is programmed like a computer, and the information a computer carry out is based on what was programmed in it by the programmer. The computer does not have its own information unless human being encode what is needed to be in the computer. Relatively, mankind has two encoders - one is God and the other is the enemy of God (Satan); we decide what we want to be encoded in us by paying attention to the personality (either God or enemy).

Additionally, in the teaching, I saw that there is a power that be and there is a power that should not be, and that is the power of satan. Bro Eli added "But in as much as that power was given already and was misused by satan,it exists. We cannot simply eradicate everything. God will be coming to that point when He will eradicate everything that is evil." This is so true and that day of eradication is an appointed time of judgment.

In the books of Act 17:31, it says,

because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead." -- KJV

This means that when God raised Jesus Christ from the dead, it is His assurance that every man that existed on earth will face judgment through the Lord Jesus Christ. This judgment is inevitable just as death is inevitable. In the book of Hebrews 9:27 you can confirm that –

And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, -- KJV

So, if we cannot escape death, we cannot escape also the judgment. Therefore there's need for every mankind to live at Peace with all men so that they are qualified to be one with Christ in judgement.

So this means, I become what I need to be in life based on my free Will which is given to me by God.

If I want to be good or bad it all depends on me
