The Day I Broke the Mold: A Tale of Taking Initiative and Learning
It doesn't matter what you do or where you live, if you work anywhere or even in your family, you want to stand out from others, whether through your actions or your style. Everyone keeps trying different things to appear different and many people are attention seekers many people remain very innocent despite knowing a lot and even pretend that they do not know anything and also Don't even want attention. There are all kinds of people around us, not everyone is the same, some want attention and some don't want attention. But everyone's viewpoint on anything is different, it is not necessary that the next person thinks the same as I think or even has different thoughts...

Choices that turned fruitful
An opinion is something which is not based on facts. Like opinion is everyone’s personal choice. Every single person has their own opinion or you can also say a point of view or judgement. Like my opinion is that red colour looks most desirable than any other colours but my cousin thinks that the colour pink is superior...

Take the wheels and be in control!
Doris took one last glance. She opened her eyes with the realization of leaving Humsterville and water seeped out of her tear glands, causing her to insert her index fingers at her caruncle to stop them from embarrassing her. She had sat up all night, brushing her father's thin, gray hair with her palms as he snored softly. His forehead had been dry and sticky with sweat as it had been every single night and he heaved his lungs up forcefully to inhale air, producing a low humming sound like a suppressed snore...

Self deceit
The information filtered in late in the night that the results of the most dreaded course on campus, MTH 101 had been placed a few hours earlier. MTH 101 was one of the most difficult courses for year 1 science students. I heard a lot about how one in tens of students makes the grade of credit or above. Immediately I got hold of the information, I informed the duo of my friends, Jude and Segun who offered the course too...

A walk through hell to his destiny
Hell was a better option. Marion mopped the sweat that had insisted on dripping endlessly, trailing from the tips of his hair down to his neck and into his cloak. Every time he looked back, he could only see his shadow trailing behind him and when he looked ahead, he saw the golden rays that seemed to pull him right into the searing epicenter of the sun. It was like being exiled to death...

English On wheels Fred was a boy with a passion for wooden cart racing, he had built his 'Lightning Fast', as he called his wooden hot rod, painted white with a red lightning bolt on the top front. Fred had been building his wooden cart for six months and planned to compete in the city's Wooden Cart League (WCL). It was the first year he would be competing, his pupils dilated at the sight of his large finished work and a huge smile was painted on his freckled face. With his small and lanky body, he climbed into the wooden cart and imagined that he was running at full speed down the slope overtaking his opponents...

Rubén is a young medical student about to graduate as a doctor at the University; however, in his country, there is a law that says that before graduating, the doctor must do or comply with article 8, which is to do a period of service in rural areas. Rubén decided to do his rural service in the indigenous areas of his country, and he went to the Sierra de Perijá in the state of Zulia. When he went to this indigenous area, he went to a village called Mareva, which was close to the Tukuko Mission, near the river of the same name. Arriving at the ambulatory, Rubén felt he was in another world, as he was surrounded by the simplicity, humility and spiritual beauty of the indigenous people, especially the children...

My cure for boredom is not relying on others to make it go
Boredom is a state we all have found ourselves but the only difference is that extrovert tends to feel more bored than introverts. Extroverts crave attention from others and when they do not get this, they get frustrated which could lead to boredom. As for introverts, which I also happened to be one, we also get bored once in a while but not because people don't give us attention, you see attention is the last thing we crave. There is a difference between being alone and being lonely, the life of an introvert is that we love to be able yet we do not feel lonely, we love to be around nature and tech rather than talking with others which sort of drains our energy...

THE FACES ON NAIRA NOTES🧩🧩…
Wow, this is pretty interesting and quite funny to be honest, and the fact is that I almost skipped this week’s edition three topic because I felt like for someone to be used as the face of our currency(naira), such person must have in one way or another contributed to the growth and prosperity of the country over the last couple of decades, which means there have to be some merits attached to such persons identity either in the past or in the present, and I also feel like the current faces on our currency right now is just perfect, which means there is no need to change the faces of these past heroes, they have indeed earned their spot and that is why their faces are on our currency till date… Even with the fact that I didn’t get to meet or know any one of these past heroes personally, records of their lives and deeds has been made, which includes everything they have done to make Nigeria what it is today, these past heroes have done one or two things just to make Nigeria a great country… These past heroes either died before I was born or they died while I was growing up, the only leader I clearly remember as one of Nigeria’s past heroes is the late Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, he was once the president of Nigeria, and according to what I heard and read about him, which was also written in down in history, he was a good president in his time and he was also loved by his people… What I am trying to say to you all now is that an ordinary man’s face can not be used as the face of Nigeria’s currency, that is to say; a man with no merits or accomplishments has no right to be the face of our currency, and for someone to be the face of our currency,..

Creative Sunday : OKAY by Adekunle Gold(cover)
]( ▶️ Hello everyone, it's been a long break from singing and it's also another edition of the hive learners creative sunday, should i say i have been too busy or should i rather say i have been too lazy ahahah, well, a lot of things has been hindering me from participating in the hive learners creative sunday, but after realizing i have been gone for too long, i decided to get back into the game, and here i am picking up from where i left off, but this time i came with a beautiful twist... I am an all time lover of gospel songs, and after presenting some of my favorites in the past weeks, a very close friend of mine asked me to try doing something different, i guess she meant i should try doing something other than gospel for a change, i thought of it as a cool idea but i am not the fan of cool songs, i am more of the Olamide and Davido type of songs, well, i took her suggestion and put it into action today, and the result is finally out... I came in today with something totally different from gospel, it's an hiphop to be precise, and it's a song sang by one of my favorite nigerian artists, he goes ny the name Adekunle Gold, and the title of the song is OKAY, which means today's presentation is a cover of OKAY by Adekunle Gold... Here is the lyrics, this is for those interested in singing along with me, It's a nice song and i hope you enjoy it; Sheba sheba sheba le se o Sheba sheba sheba le se o Sheba sheba sheba oh o o Stacking up my money no time for your shit Monikulopo I don't care for your hate Me no fighting me no fighting Me no fighting me no me no Throwing tantrums from bungalow boda ode I dey my pent..
