some light painting Good Morning, its been a while since I shared soem light painting shots so sharing some today from the last time I went out early and did some light painting Now most lightpainting that I have sene others share online are done late at night well after sunset, but I am more of a morning person so I head out extra early to try to get to a spot a good hour or more before sunrise and have soem time while it is still dark enough to try some light painting. Its been to cool over winter for me to do that, but hopefulyl soon, which reminds me I must charge up the torches and have them all ready to go These shots were taken in Fort Taber this first one by the old Fort Rodman, when I noticed there was a good sized puddle near it Sony A7iv 21mm F14 45 Sec ISO 100 I was happy to finally get some with good reflections Lightpainting is a photographic technique in which exposures are made mostly long exposures so you need your camera on a steady surface such as a tripod. and by moving a hand held light source this can be to to illuminate a subject, create light patterns, or to shine a point of light directly at the camera, another way is by moving the camera itself during exposure, something i havent tried intentionally myself, I have sometimes moved my camera while taking a long exposure and got some funky effects. and for many me included, although I do edit all my photos I do not add any effects while edited just fine tune what a managed to catch ...
