More To Moderation Know Your Health Status First

Who said sugar is bad? We all need that glucose especially when you are so active.

Before last month I was working so hard to take less of sugar without knowing that I was harming myself, though they said too much everything is bad and everything that have a good side do have it's downside too.

Coming from a home that I was trained with animal sugar that's from the bee 🐝 I found it so difficult to adapt when I got married and after a while we weren't able to afford the honey because of the cost. When we were much younger my mother used to buy this honey in large quantities and we use it over time because it doesn't really have an expiring date. We got so used to it, as time progressed we decided to start making some ends meet from it. Till date my siblings still sell honey but in an improved form. The company is well registered and a NAFDAC number for over 10 years. Coming over to my home now, not too long we were able to get some honey but I couldn't proceed because of the hick in the cost of things and we just had to fall back to sugar.

My husband's people enjoy taking sugar so much, in other not to use so much sugar some of them go ahead to make use of sacarin which is so bad for the health, though they are not the only ones in this, some of these companies make use of it. That was this particular drink I bought for my kids, it was so popular that every kid wants to have it,but when I did, I regretted going for it because it was so obvious that sacarin was added in no little amount.

When my kids were much younger, they try to accept taking pap or tea without sugar but presently, they will even ask of I added sugar especially when it's not sufficient for them. With the daily hick in the price of sugar, one just need to apply good wisdom so you won't run the family on debt.

Sometime last month when I was sick, my husband invited his cousin who is a nurse to come over and run general treatment for the family. When he came, so I offered him Tom Brown so as usual I added a little sugar to the taste of the family. He requested for more sugar and said he is suffering from one sickness I can remember at the moment so he needs more sugar. I didn't say a word I went and gave him. Personally I kept pondering over that scenario.

On my own side I know that I have been feeling so low in my brain that most time I tend to forget things and don't feel like doing anything. As the days progressed I decided to be adding more sugar to my own pap, truth be told I feel better upside. I just hope my husband don't get to see this aspect sha🫢🫢🫢. I drink more sugar now than before, my reason for this is because my brain is always very active and I feel I need the sugar so I won't break down...note that this is a personal prescription ooo.

This is just for my pap and Ton brown. There are drinks that one don't need sugar to take them down so it is not something I cannot do without. As I said earlier, too much of everything is bad, so I believe the quantity of sugar I take in on a daily basis is enough for me and I don't wish to reduce or increase it for now because it is helping me in no little way.

Everyone should find out what works best for him because it will save us lots of stress.

Well, sugar addiction is a normal thing but still there are other natural sweetener items which might be cheap, honey isn't necessary. Direct consumption of sugar is somehow not good for your health especially when you become addicted to it.

We take sugar for different reasons. What is good for you might be bad for another. Discover your body system and stick to what is healthy for your system. That's great and thanks sharing.

Sugar is a natural source of immediate energy and it's good to take it moderate, as that's the best way to live a healthy life.

I've seen people use shaqarin and honey in place of sugar too, although like you said, honey is way to expensive.

But consideration of our personal health status is good to know what and what to consume or not consume.

I definietly resonate with your point of view on this topic, moderation is at key best in everything, i beleiv ethat sugar is a very important part of our diet and the fact that you had seen a significant change in your body system really shows that, i loved your write up for this topic, good job. @hivedeb
