Don't feel unworthy

Today being Monday, I would like to share with you the great ministry of John the Baptist as recorded in John chapter 3 .
In my study Of John chapter 3 today, I discovered that, John the Baptist appeared in the wilderness, preaching repentance and talking about how near the Kingdom of Heaven is. He baptizes people in the Jordan River as a symbol of their repentance. He was wearing clothes of camel’s hair and eats locusts and wild honey as his food.

Jesus came to John to be baptized. John at first hesitates, feeling unworthy, but Jesus told him not to feel unworthy. At Jesus' baptism, the heavens opened, the Spirit of God descends like a dove, and a voice from heaven Pronounced, "This is my Son, whom I love or well pleased." From John chapter 3 l learned the following lessons which I want you to also benefit from.

Repentance is very important as a major preparation for receiving God’s Kingdom.

I saw humility and obedience to God's will as the vital thing demonstrated by both John and Jesus.
So we are call to do the same.
I also discovered that, Jesus' baptism shows the importance of His identification with humanity and the reality of His divine sonship.

In conclusion, This chapter teaches us about listening to God’s guidance, the importance of repentance, humility, obedience, and the reality of Jesus as the Son of God.
