Doctors Prescribed Drugs Saves A Million

The issue of drug abuse is a growing topic in this season. Many people are already reactive to some kind of drugs because they in one way or the other have abused it. We are in a society where everyone is a doctor. Doctor in the sense that we give prescription to different illnesses. Because you took on drugs and it worked for the illness does not mean it will necessarily work for another person. This is the reason why sensitivity test is very important to get to know the drugs that will work well for an individual.

Just last week I told my husband that as the year is coming to an end it is very important for we all to go for medical check. Someone will ask why did I say so. Here is my reason, not too far from my house we have a family friend who owns a laboratory, so a times when we complain of something he will just suggest a drugs for us to get. While that is good because he is helping is save our money but it is bad because fever for instance is not only a symptom of malaria but can also be for another underlining health challenge. So going for a check up will help us in no little way.

Now people form resistance to a particular drugs because of the long use of it or because they didn't take it as prescribed so the sickness got some mutation and they form what is call resistance. Sensitivity test helps to discover the drugs that works well for a person. One of our friends after her CS suffer so much in pains because most of the pain killers given to her was not effective and she was told that she already abused the pain killers.

Personally I am not a fan of drugs at all, I look for ways to help myself first. Before I take in any medication I get to find out from my doctor if it is okay for me or not. Many drugs in in medical store are just not good, infact if you are not a medical person they will just give you the fake drugs in the place of the original ones. So if you are part of them you use the real name before they could give it to you.

The hope for our society is to have more people who will just be sincere to this profession. Those who value the life of people than the money they want to make in the system. There is sector that many people just go for the money. A lot of people will go to the companies and ask them to manufacture fake drugs and they have the mind to distribute it. So one will just notice that he keeps taking drugs but is is no effective at all. Just last week a circular was release about a malaria drugs company that copied another company's NAFDAC number and is making so much sale with it.

Let people just have the heart of helping others stay healthy than just the money that will be made at the end. My entry to the first edition of this week's prompt. Thank you for reading.
