Considering The Economic Crunch Some Days Off Won't Be Bad

This topic makes lots of sense, enjoyment choke. Regrets to everyone in this community and I do wish you all a happy weekend, make sure to take good care of yourself. Most importantly, take out some time to rest....

The imagination of having four days out of the official 5 working days will look so strange to many people but to some it's what they are already practicing. In my country and in Kaduna State and in the Eastern part of the country it's already in practice. In the last admission the governor resolved that Friday's Kaduna State government workers won't go to work because according to him it's a religious day for them. The last day I checked it's still in practice even though he is no longer in office.

Down to the Eastern part of my country Monday's is not work for them because IPOB Leader is held captive and it is nick named seat at home. This one is so dicey because most people lost their lives because of one thing or the other. When I traveled last Christmas I made sure I left on Tuesday because I don't want story that touch the heart and when I was returning I made sure it was not on a Monday to save myself many stories.

Presently I reside in the middle belt and we still have five working days, it's not going to be a bad idea. Moreso, due to the economic crunch some establishment resolved to let the workers skip not just one day but two or three so that they will be able to manage overhead cost. One of our friends that works at a private school in Abuja was told to skip two days out of 5 because of the hick in the transportation system. Most of these establishments are not even willing to increase salary so telling the workers to work remotely becomes the best option for them. Now what this friends does is, those days she is off from work she makes sure she utilize for other businesses. She bakes and have other mini business that she takes care of, now before the month goes far she would have realized more than her salary from her business. Why she still sticks to the teaching job is because she don't want to lose contact with the class room and students because that's what gives her good joy according to her.

So if am to be in same position kai! I will toll same lane because I so much believe that anything one is doing and it's not able to provide for the basic needs to be considered very well because as people get to see one well dressed and stepping out daily some folks with this entitlement mentality will be expecting something too. My sister told me of a woman that told her to upgrade her wardrobe because her husband is well placed in the office, I was like, can you imagine that? So you guys don't know other things to do with money other than changing clothes up and down. According to her, she told her that she is not working anywhere and her husband spends so much on the road and that was how the matter was offed.

Managing the present economy is so important because it's not so easy for anyone and many are already living in debt and don't even know when to settle such debt.

My entry for the week #124 and the last edition, thank you for visiting my blog today. See you some other time.

I am a witness to that of the Northern part removing Fridays from the working days. They don't joke about that day at all.
Here in Lagos too, due to transportation issues and economic hardship, Some sectors have been given 3 days working in the office and 2days from home.

It is a good one👌

The past governor laid the legacy and this continued even after him. The eastern part's sit at home is rather unfortunate as it has taken lives with it. One needs adequate rest in Nigeria and having Friday off is a sure good start.
