Be Grateful To God For What You Have

Greetings to you all in the name of our God. I will be sharing with you today from 2Samuel chapter 12:1-10 with verse 8 as the key verse.
The bible says in verse 8 of 2Samuel Chapter 12

"I gave your master's palace to you and his wives as well. I gave the kingdoms of Israel and Judah to you. And if that was not enough for you, I would have given you even more than that"

This is all about David who was not satisfied with what God gave the bible says in 1Timothy 6:6 that, " Godliness with CONTENTMENT is a great gain."
We must learn to be contented with what He has given us so far and how far He has brought us In today's reading, God reminded King David how much He has done for him and given him. God again said if what He had given was too small, King David is Free to ask for more. But David not being satisfied with his many wives, went for another Urias' wife and got himself and his family into big trouble.

I learned another big lesson from today's reading that,
Unfaithfulness in marriage and relationships is a lack of CONTENTMENT.

Also, if you always wish to be like someone else and go after what they have is a serious sin against God that can shut the heavens against you.
Don't be ashamed of where you are today and what God has given you. Rejoice and be happy with who you are and what you have.

Where you are now is not your final destination is just a bus stop. There is more ahead of you. Be contented with what you have and trust God for His goodness and enjoy your life per day. God bless you.
