¿Acaso hay alguien a quien no le gusten los días feriados? Usualmente son fechas en las que se conmemoran hechos históricos o hazañas que marcaron un antes y un después.
Hay algunos que coinciden en varios países, y otros son más locales, pero casi todos implican un receso en las actividades cotidianas para recordar y celebrar las proezas de los antepasados.
Pero ¿Qué pasaría si tuvieras la libertad de generar tu propio feriado?

Is there anyone who doesn't like public holidays? They are usually dates that commemorate historical events or achievements that marked a turning point.
Some are celebrated in several countries, while others are more local, but almost all involve a break from daily activities to remember and celebrate the achievements of our ancestors.
But what if you had the freedom to create your own holiday?
Nos parece que es una manera fantástica de plantearnos la posibilidad de crear desde cero, y que pensemos qué cosa o emoción nos encantaría que los demás celebraran en un feriado que se generara desde la privacidad de nuestra mente.
Por eso, queremos que nos compartas cuál sería ese evento que te gustaría poder celebrar y que los demás también disfrutaran de hacerlo. Cuál sería el trasfondo y el alcance que debería tener ¿local o internacional?
Lo importante es que sea una celebración original, y no un feriado que sea conocido, aunque reconocemos que es complicado saber si ya existe o no, la idea es innovar y darle cabida a algún evento que no se se celebre o por lo menos no se haga comúnmente.

We think it's a fantastic way to consider the possibility of creating something from scratch, and to think about what thing or emotion we would love for others to celebrate on a holiday that was generated from the privacy of our minds.
That's why we want you to share with us what that holiday would be that you would like to celebrate and that others would also enjoy doing. What would be the background and scope it should have—local or international?
The important thing is that it is an original celebration, and not a well-known holiday, although we recognise that it is difficult to know whether or not it already exists. The idea is to innovate and make room for an event that is not celebrated, or at least not commonly celebrated.
A diferencia de las iniciativas anteriores, queremos que nos respondas ciertas preguntas al momento de hacer tu publicación, aunque puedes añadir aspectos que consideres importantes de destacar y que complementen tu idea.
¿Qué evento resaltarías en un feriado de tu creación?

¿Habrían algunas actividades que obligatoriamente deberían incluirse en esta celebración?
¿Crees que debería ser celebrado en una pequeña comunidad, o en todo el país?
¿En qué cambiaría la sociedad con la celebración de este feriado?
! [English] Unlike previous initiatives, we want you to answer certain questions when you make your post, although you can add aspects that you consider important to highlight and that complement your idea.
- What event would you highlight in a holiday of your creation?
- On what date would it be celebrated?
- Would there be any activities that should be included in this celebration?
- Do you think it should be celebrated in a small community or across the country?
- How would society change with the celebration of this holiday?
Cómo participar:
Para hacerlo, debes tomar en cuenta las preguntas sugeridas en este post, aunque eres libre de hacerlo en el orden que desees y agregar información extra que lo complemente, siempre y cuando nos hagas referencia a la consigna sobre Crea tu propio feriado, desde tu punto de vista personal, recordando siempre usar un lenguaje de respeto y empatía.
-La extensión mínima debe ser de 300 palabras en español, ya que nuestra comunidad es de habla hispana, pero la recomendación es hacerlo bilingüe (español e inglés) para que tu contenido tenga mayor alcance.
-Incluir en el título feriado.
-Colocar las etiquetas: #spanish, #feriado, #holiday.
-Para mayor difusión, comparte tu publicación a través de X (ExTwitter) Y Leo-Threads usando las mismas etiquetas.
-Sugerimos rebloguear esta publicación.
-Comparte todos tus post en la caja de comentarios de esta publicación.
-Sugerimos invitar a dos participantes a unirse a esta iniciativa.
-El tiempo de vigencia de la iniciativa será hasta el 31 de marzo.
