River park Monomad challenge.

Good morning to all my Hive friends!
I’m delighted to share my very first black-and-white photograph. This was taken at River Park, Galle—a beautifully scenic area located near a water stream. The background features a peaceful and contemplative setting, with the name artistically crafted using stones. I submitted this photo under the Monomad Challenge theme.

What caught my eye about this open-structured building was the clean lines and the striking contrast between light and shadow.
The space is largely empty, yet the single seated figure adds a quiet human touch to the scene.

Architecturally, the sloped roof and sharp geometry give a strong sense of balance and symmetry. However, as I moved closer, I noticed a row of compartments — it’s actually a resting area.

Truly, it’s a beautiful place.

This design truly captured my attention. The building appears both welcoming and distinct—a symbol of modern functionality nestled in a pristine, green landscape. Inside, a single seated figure adds life to the otherwise empty space, subtly breathing humanity into the structure.
