Letโs make a steamed cake using pandan leaf juice as a natural coloring.๐ฐ๐ฐ
Good morning to all my Hive friends,
A steamed cake made with pandan leaf juice brings together the magic of natural ingredients and the gentle aroma of this beloved leaf. Pandan not only gives the cake a refreshing green color but also adds a subtle sweet and fragrant flavor, making it a perfect choice for those who enjoy simple and healthy treats.
I added all the ingredients typically needed for a cake, but infused it with pandan juice to elevate its charm.
This creation is soft, light, and perfect to enjoy during tea time.
Required Ingredients...
๐ 1 1/2 Cup of Wheat flour.
๐ 1 Teaspoon of baking powder.
๐ 1/2 Teaspoon of baking powder.
๐ 1Egg.
๐ A pinch of salt.
๐ 2 Tablespoon of Margarine.
๐ 1/2 Cup of finely powdered sugar
๐ some pandan leaves .
๐ 3/1 Cup of fresh milk.
Method of making....
First, crack the eggs into a bowl. Add the sugar and beat well. Then, add the margarine and beat again until well combined.
Next, place the pandan leaves in a blender, add about 3 tablespoons of water, and extract the juice.
Next, to the egg mixture, add a little fresh milk, wheat flour, baking soda, baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Sift the wheat flour, baking soda, and baking powder before adding, and mix everything well.
Next, add the pandan juice and mix well.
Now, once the batter has thickened well, it should be placed in a steamer. For this, grease a pan with margarine or coconut oil and pour in the mixture. Steam for about half an hour and then remove it from the heat. If this seems unclear to you, you can refer to the pictures below.
With its naturally vibrant color and gentle flavor, this steamed pandan cake is a wonderful way to enjoy traditional tastes in a healthier, chemical-free way. Serve it warm and fluffy to your loved ones and watch it become a new favorite on your tea-time table.
Happy cooking!
