The More Staked SPS, The More Advantage you Have to Get Yaba's Pickle
Another promo card is about to be released in splinterlands. These promotion cards are going to be fantastic and every player needs it. Staked SPS is very crucial to Yaba's Pickle; the more of your staked SPS, the more you can purchase. Sincerely, the best way to get into this event is your stake SPS, I believe those with over 100,000 will have more advantage over players without staked SPS. According to the press release, one can get the promo cards at a cheaper rate. The price of the cards is 150 credits!
My challenges
I have said it before, the player with higher SPS staked will have more advantage to get more. For me, I cannot get more than 7 cards which is very small; this is because my SPS stake is 7,000. If I can get up to 8,000 before the event starts, I will buy 8 which is still small for me. Combining the 7 cards is level 2 which cannot offer me the ability I wanted. I will need to get to level 4 or 5 to get my desirable ability.
That is the reason I cannot talk about the second phase and third phase.
What I am doing right now is to make sure to use new released Cards in the battles; I have used several of the cards in the battle, but in today's episode,I will write about Reckless ability.
Reckless ability never crossed my mind when I saw those abilities in the @splinterlands blog some weeks ago. I was engrossed with two promo cards- Arcane Skinwalker and Gramel the Hunger. When I use a monster called Gonach Excavator, that was when I realized there was a card with reckless ability. I did not know how the ability works until I used it in a battle; I discovered adjacent monsters to Gonach Excavator got one unit damaged in every round. That was how I read the ability of Gonach Excavator, and I discovered it was the monster that caused monsters to be damaged every round. That was how I understood the ability of the monster!
I was happy to use it when it was needed because I know how it works; and that was the reason I used it in this battle.
Rules of the battleHeavy Hitters All units have knock out ability (deals double damage if the target is stunned). I like using a monster with stun ability such as Spirit Shaman; unfortunately only melee monsters were allowed in the battle. The second reason I did not use a stun monster was because I did not have a melee monster with stun ability. This kind of a monster would have been the sweetest monster to use in this battle.
*Stampede* Trample (after using a melee attack to defeat a unit, performs another melee attack against the unit in the next position) can trigger multiple times if the trample unit is destroyed.
Up Close and Personal You can only summon units with melee attacks. In situations like this, only melee monsters can be allowed in this battle; and that was the reason only melee monsters were available for selection.

Monsters Arrangement
Cursed Windeku🔸🔸🔸
Splinter: Death 💀💀💀
Level: 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Speed: 3 🚤🚤🚤
Ability: Thorns and heal
Health: 10 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Attack: Melee
Mana: 6
Cursed Windeku's The thorn's ability was very important to me here; I knew that the thorn's ability would have a lot of advantages to me in this battle, and that was the reason I brought it. The moment I realized that there was ‘’up close and personal** ruleset was included, understood that every monster would have to be in contact with one and another; and I have the knowledge that when a melee monster attacks Cursed Windeku units would be damaged from the attacker. That was how I knew that Cursed Windeku*” is the best option. I placed it in the first position because it was the best position for Curse Windeku; except the first position, it can not attack on any position again. Only the first position it can attack. As we can see, it wasn't, Cursed Windeku could not be eliminated in this battle. Despite the shield ability of *”Dumacke Orc a unit was damaged each time it attacks Cursed Windeku.
Silence Sha-Vi
Splinter: Death 💀💀💀
Level: 3 ⭐⭐⭐
Speed: 4 🚤🚤🚤🚤
Ability: Sneak
Health: 5 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Attack: Melee
Mana: 5
The best thing was to attack from behind; though, I like using opportunity monsters in this kind of battle but they were not available for me to use. **Silence Sha-Vi was one of the promising monsters during my selection. The melee is fantastic, the speed is exemplary! When I considered those two things, I knew it would be useful in this battle. If not because of its health it would have been destroyed by reckless ability.
Gonach Excavator
Splinter: Death 💀💀💀 Level: 1 ⭐ Speed: 2 🚤🚤 Ability: Sneak Health: 2 ❤️❤️ Armor: 1 🪖 Attack: Melee Mana: 3 I regretted the first time I used Gonach Excavator! It destroyed the two monsters adjacent to it. Since then, I don't like to use it; today, I saw a bigger opportunity to use and I made use of it. Its contribution was wonderful in this battle, attacking from behind and contributing to the elimination of the majority of the monsters that were destroyed.
Halfling Refuge
Splinter: Neutral
Level: 1 ⭐ Speed: 3 🚤🚤🚤 Ability: Weary Health: 6 ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ Attack: Melee Mana: 1 Since I understand how Gonach Excavator works, I used Halfling Refuge was there to take damage from at any time. That was how I could prevent Gonach Excavator from damaging Pelacor Deceiver Toward the end of the battle, it damaged the health of Halfling Refuge to 2. The combination of flying and dodge ability worked perfectly in this battle. You could see that from the first round to the last round, there was no opponent's monster that damage health of Pelacor Deceiver
Corpse Spawn
Splinter: Death 💀💀💀 Level: 2 ⭐⭐ Speed: 3 🚤🚤🚤 Ability: None Health: 1 ♥️ Attack: Melee Mana: 0 Since it does not remove anything from me; I brought it to this lineup, believing that if reckless eliminated Halfling Refuge, it has to eliminate Corpse Spawn before affecting Pelacor Deceiver . All what I did was to prevent Pelacor Deceiver from reckless ability so that it can last longer.
Pelacor Deceiver
Splinter: Death 💀💀💀 Level: 6 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Speed: 4 🚤🚤🚤🚤 Ability: Flying and Backfire Health: 9 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Attack: Melee Mana: 5 The backfire ability was my hope! I have used this kind of strategy before, and it worked for me. The combination of flying and dodge ability worked perfectly in this battle. You could see that from the first round to the last round, there was no opponent's monster that damage health of Pelacor Deceiver
