Take Your Financial Level to Next Level With Splinterlands: Great Minds and Like-minded People are Pointers to my Success Story

Hello friends and splinterlands warriors across the world. When I saw this week splinterlands community engagement Weekly Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge: Legends in the making, what came to my mind was the people that helped me while I knew nothing about splinterlands.
This is the reason I will always reference them for their kindness; they are great philanthropists.

I used great minds because their goals were to make me a great player. They were doing everything possible for me so that the game could be attractive to me.

I called them friends because they were ready to answer me whenever I sent messages in Discord channel. I believe the best friend is a friend that is with you in a difficult time or render a help when you need a help. They were not tired of helping me even though I needed their help almost every time.
The moment I texted them messages, they were not tired of helping me. There was a time I was consistently asked one of them questions concerning splinterlands, he wasn't tired to answer me.
I was constantly asking my friend on Whatsapp about an investment he introduced to me. When he got to a certain time he neither picked my whatsapp calls nor replied to messages I sent to him.
But, these great minds, friends and Like-minded people were not getting tired of me .

Let me thank my friend and splinterlands warrior @burlarj for his relentless effort toward me. I never heard anything about splinterlands in my career; I love reading his articles, and I always went to his blog to read his latest articles. At the time he started posting splinterlands battles in his blog. I kept on reading it for weeks; after several weeks of reading his splinterlands posts.
There was a certain post where he illustrated splinterlands very well. That was how I checked splinterlands website and realized that to start the game, I only need $10. When I checked my hive account, I had more than $10 in my wallet. Without wasting, I used $10 to purchase a starter pack (spell book).
After I purchased Spellbook, I was given ghost cards, which simply means that the cards were not my own but I can use them.

My biggest challenge was that I didn't know how to play the game, because I did not read how to play.
I started arranging the monsters without reading card types and card stats. I neglected them and jumped into playing.
Note: newbie should endeavour to read those things before playing battles.
I was losing the battles and got frustrated! This is one of the reasons newbies need to understand many things about the cards and battle rules.
Since I have never won a battle, I quit playing splinterlands.
When I told @burlarj, he taught me how to play it and shared some splinterlands contents posted by warriors to me. He gave me some cards to start with, and encouraged me as well.
From the materials he shared, that was how I came in contact with @clove71, a generous and good woman. I was watching some of her splinterlands live videos on Twitch, and also reading some of her contents about splinterlands on hive. That was how I got the basic knowledge of how to play splinterlands. She did some giveaways and I won some of them and I was rewarded with packs and Dark Crystal Energy (DEC).

I kept on listening to her twitch and became her follower, I became consistent while hosting splinterlands program on Twitch.
With level one summoners and monsters, I was very good. Playing splinterlands was so easy for me, and it became the game I started to spend more than 6 hours playing. That was because I had a high percentage of winning battles.
There was no limitation on the battles to play, one can play as he wanted.
I came across a friend and a philanthropist in splinterlands Discord channel. He gave me a summoner and monsters to keep on playing the game. I was very happy that day. Well! I could not recognize his name on the hive but I still remember how he helped me.
I became addicted to splinterlands, and I purchased packs- that was how I started having more cards. There was a season I reached champion lll and I was rewarded with 120 rewards. I got plenty of cards from it.
I borrowed money to purchase packs; I spent more than $2,000 to purchase packs. The good news was that if I were to sell three cards I got from the packs, it was enough for me to pay the loan.
I was happy and I did not sell them because I needed those cards. After three months I paid my loan and became free.

Sincerely speaking! What I was earning in splinterlands those days was more than my monthly salary. I got a new PC, and when I needed money to rent an apartment, I converted DEC to Hive and sent it to my binance wallet. I paid off my house rent from the money ; and bought a generator, wifi, table and chair, and purchased other things for my new apartment.
I played splinterlands everywhere- in the office, in the home and while outside.
There was no dull moment for me; I used my phone to play splinterlands while I was outside, such as hanging out, partying, etc.
And I used my PC to play at home and at the office.

I did not know that there was a splinterlands content challenge. It was @burlarj that told me about it; and he said, “engage in splinterlands social Medial Challenge and Battles Challenge."
I did not know how to write splinterlands content; then I asked him, how should I do it? He said, “read my latest post on splinterlands".
When I read, it was Creeping Ooze battle. I have to use creeping Ooze in a battle and share my experience.
Without wasting time, I used Creeping Ooze in a battle and I shared my experiences and strategy.
It wasn't easy to write because it was my first splinterlands post. It tooked me more than 6 hours to finish the post; after I finished the article, I posted. In the next day, I was voted by steemmonsters.

After few weeks, making splinterlands articles were very easy for me; I also engaged in splinterlands art contest.
The money I was generating from my articles was using to purchase packs and cards. As I was doing that, I was getting more cards and my account getting bigger; my collection power started from 10,000.
As I was accumulating cards, it kept on increasing! Today I have up to 300,000 collection power.

Let me not forget! @bdvoter is also part of my splinterlands success story. They kept on supporting my splinterlands contents. I want to say a big thank to you! You always makes me happy by supporting my contents. There was a time I was about to give up on posting because I hardly get votes; it was @bdvoter that supported my splinterlands contents.
It was a happy moment for me!
I was advised to make my post more unique and good by @bdvoter curators; that was how I started to read the best splinterlands contents and came up with my own unique idea.

In conclusion, most players started from small, while some started big. My advice for my friends and people that want to start something that will give them additional income; splinterlands is one of the best that can give additional income.
It is never late to start, if I did not take step that day, I would have not be here toady telling people about my splinterlands success story.
