🖤Heartless Mother❣️ In This Generation

Hello hivelearners community, how are you doing today?
Like the articles I read, parents have different hearts 💓💓❤️, there are parents with wicked 🖤 hearts and there are parents with good health 💗.
In my lifetime, I haven't come across parents with wicked hearts but I have read about such parents on social media, and in the news.
The recent incident that happened in my country abou a woman that threw her son in the river.
I was reading WhatsApp status; a friend of mine posted a video about a woman who went to the river and threw his son inside the river. The child was lucky on that day, he would have died.
There was an Okada rider defecating by the side of the river; the woman didn't see the Okada man. As she looked around, she didn't see anybody, she threw the child into the river.
Thank God for that man, as the woman walked 200m away, the man jumped to the river and saved the child.
Though the child drowned, the man shouted for help. People that were going for their businesses came to him, helping the child.
There was a man that brought the child to live, because by the time the child was brought up from water, he could not talk but breathing.
He pressed his chest, and did other things to make sure that he came back alive.
By the time the man was doing it, the man that saved the child from water ran and catched the mother of the child before she escaped.
After a few minutes, the child coughed and water came out from his mouth, nose and ear. That was how the child was saved from death.
When the child came alive, the child was transported to Hospital where he was given intensive care. They handed over the woman to the nearby police station.
The police asked the woman, “Is it your child?”
She said, “yes”
The police investigated whether she was the one that gave birth to him by collecting her house address, and number of his relatives.
After a series of investigations, her co-tenants, Landlord, and friends testified that she was the mother of the child.
Police, “where is your husband?”
The mother of the child said, “his father refused to accept him because I was dating more than 2 men when I was pregnant. I just wanted to give the child to that man because he was the man that cares most for me. I don't even know if he was the father of the child.
What makes you think that killing the child was the best solution, “after I got pregnant, none of the men came to me again, and I was sacked where I was working. Therefore, it was very hard for me to get 2 meals in a day. When I gave birth to the child, I had nothing to eat. My landlord notified me about my rent which had expired. It got to the point that it was very hard for me to eat a meal for a day while I was breastfeeding the child.
Then, she said, “I threw my child into the water because I don't want him to experience hardship just like me. I don't want him to grow up saying anything bad about me. There was no reason to keep him alive since I don't have money to take care of him. I don't want to see him suffering, and rejected; I can't watch him growing up without a father, no education, and no work; I don't want to see my child wearing tattered clothes like made people, begging for money and food in the streets. I begged people for money, I saw how I was dejected and rejected. I was told different things- woman you are beautiful, go and join prostitution , i bet you, you will make a lot of money: woman, if you give me one chance, I will give you money, please give me a chance. There were men that invited me to their houses, but I decided to give a try to some of them. All of them want to have sex with me before helping me. One said, “for me to help you, you must help me first, you must fulfill my desires”. I refused them because I don't want the same thing to happen to me twice. That was the reason I decided to end his life.”
“Are you not aware of motherless babies?”
The woman replied, “motherless babies did not cross my mind. I wasn't thinking in that direction”.
To cut the whole story short, since it was murder case, the government intervened. The woman was sentenced to prison and the child was sent to a motherless baby.
Can we say the woman was right by throwing her child into the river?
I know all of you will agree with me that what the woman did was pure wickedness. There are cases that are even worse than hers but they refused to give up on their children. As a good mother, you don't give up on your child.
If the child grows up and becomes an important personality in this country, if he later hears his story, he won't be happy with his mother.
Children are like gold in the hands of a good mother.

I thank God my mother is the best mother in this world to me. He never let me down, he never gave up on me even as a grown up man now.
I was still a child when my father died; my mother was everything I had. He is my mother, my angel, my helper, and my guidance.
I remembered when I was about to give up on my academics due to a challenge I had in school. I was happy to graduate after 4 years in the school but I was called in my final year that one of my results was not found, you have to do it again.
Well! If it was the second semester, I wouldn't have been so sad because I was in the 400 level second semester. I was sad because it was my 1st semester course. Which simply means I would spend another three months in the school.
With all my efforts to search the answer booklet, it was not found.
I told my mother that ‘I'm given up on my education’
Why is it now they told me that my paper could not be found?
She called me twice in a day to motivate and strengthen me. She came to my school, spent a week with me. She told me, “nothing good comes easy. Before a star, there is a scar. Chris, don't ever give up on good goals. Success doesn't come easy; when the challenges are in the pick, you are about to hit success. Don't run away from challenges, face them”.
She came from home to give me advice, she knew that I would not listen to her advice on the phone. She knows me better than anyone. She left her work, and daily activities to stay with me for a week in school.
She told me stories of people that had challenges, how those that faced the challenges conquered and became great; and how those that ran away died by the challenges.
That was how I was energized, did the exam and had B.
Hmmmm! There are people that had such issues and related issues in the school that could not graduate after 2 years because they ran away.
We were 44 in a department, not all of us graduated; there are many students that did not graduate due to challenges. I believe that it happens in all departments.
I just want to thank God for giving me such a mother.
I stand up for success, and success is not achieved by merely making mouth, No room for laziness, no room for idleness. Success comes to the people who are desperately and consciously searching for it. When it seems unsuccessful or you smell failure around you, never discourage yourself from being successful.

Thank you for reading my post.
I agree with you that mother is really a great blessing as she is always there when we need her and she motivates us in every field of life 💫🤍
Yeah: that is the reason we need to cherish our mother
