Debilitating Effects of Monsters with Burning and Reckless Abilities

Happy weekend to all Splinterlands lovers! I encountered this battle while I was playing and I'm pleased to share it. To be Sincere, it's worth sharing.

The moment I saw my opponent lineup, I thought he would win the battle; Cavewise Wayfinder already made me lose hope of winning the battle. When I saw Cavewise Wayfinderwith void ability, and I came up with magic monsters, I thought there was nothing for me again, until I saw the debilitating Effects of burning and reckless abilities.

Why don't I like Burning and Reckless abilities in my lineup? I like to use monsters that work against my opponents, not monsters that work against me. I don't like using monsters that work against me in battles.

Both Blazebeard Merc and Halfshell Seer monsters work against ally monsters which is the reason I don't like to use them. I knew that if my opponent used any other monsters to replace Blazebeard Merc and Halfshell Seer, he might win the battle.

The debilitating effects of Blazebeard Merc and Halfshell Seer can make one to lose the battle

I have wrongly used Halfshell Seer in battles of which I was defeated. I noticed that Halfshell Seer was the major reason I lost those battles. As you can see in this battle, three important monsters were eliminated by burning and reckless abilities… if those monsters were not eliminated, he would have won the battle.

In this battle, my opponent used two monsters- Blazebeard Merc and Halfshell Seer. Blazebeard Merc has burning ability while Halfshell Seer has reckless ability. Both abilities worked against their allies, to the extent of destroying them. I have both monsters but I refused to use them because they will work against me, that was the reason I selected water summoner.

I understood that the best way to avoid Blazebeard Merc and Halfshell Seer. Was to use a water summoner.

🩸🩸Rules of the battle🩸🩸

Deflection Field: All units have deflect ( 0 damage from blast splash damage and punishment abilities- corrosive ward, magic reflect, return fire and thorns). Whenever the Deflection field is in action, all the aforementioned abilities cannot be effective.

Holy Protection: All units have a divine shield (Ignores all the damage once, after which the divine shield is destroyed). This was the reason the first attack does not have effect; therefore, the divine shield must first be taken away.

Monsters Arrangement

Halfling Refugee⚔️⚔️⚔️

Splinter: Neutral

Level: 1 ⭐

Ability:Weary

Speed: 3 ⚡⚡⚡

Health: 6 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Attack: Melee

Mana: 1

Imagine this mana monster had the highest health in my lineup! That was the major reason I brought it to this battle; I knew Halfling Refuge would be helpful to delay from destroying all monsters. Halfling Refugee could not attack in this battle; it was eliminated before it reached its turns. Four opponent's monsters were the first monsters that attacked; one of them attacked Stampeding Calf and damaged divine shields.

Stampeding Calf

Splinter: Water💧💧💧

Level: 1 ⭐

Ability: Charge

Speed: 1 ⚡

Health: 3 ❤️❤️❤️

Attack: Melee

Mana: 3

After Halfling Refugee was eliminated Stampeding Calf led the lineup. Stampeding Calf was not given a chance to attack, it was eliminated immediately. It was monsters with the lowest health in my lineup and speed. I shouldn't have placed it in second position; but I preferred to lose **Stampeding Calf ** rather than a magic monster. Second position wasn't the best option for Stampeding Calf; but I rather lose it than **Abyssal Elemental.

There were other monsters I can use instead of Stampeding Calf; the charge ability captivated my attention. The last time I used it, it contributed to my victory.

Abyssal Elemental

Splinter: Water 💧💧💧

Level: 1 ⭐

Ability:Resurgence

Speed: 2 ⚡⚡

Health: 5 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Amor: 2 🪖🪖

Attack: Magic

Mana: 6

Abyssal Elemental is one of my major monsters I was consciously guiding. I needed this monster to attack health directly. If I had used melee and ranged monsters, I would not have won.

My first monster in my opponent lineup had 6 armor, while the second had 9 armor; there would be no way for me to eliminate these two monsters with melee and ranged monsters. Use of magic monsters was the best strategy for it! At round 2 when Abyssal Elemental was eliminated by the Blazebeard Merc; the resurgence ability brought it back to life. At this time none of the opponent monsters was eliminated; by the time it was eliminated the second time, 4 opponent monsters were destroyed by burning and reckless abilities.

Arcane Skinwalker

Splinter: Neutral ⚔️⚔️⚔️

Level: 1 ⭐

AbilitySpeed: 2 ⚡⚡

Health: 5 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Armor: 4 🪖🪖🪖🪖

Attack: Melee

Mana: 8

Arcane Skinwalker is the second major monster I was consciously guided; I knew if my opponent use sneak monster, Arcane Skinwalker's armor would delay it a little bit. I was very sure that my opponent would not use a sneak monster, that was the reason I did not border my backline. At the last round, it was Arcane Skinwalker was left in my lineup, and Halfshell Seer was left in my opponent's lineup. Since Halfshell Seer could not attack in the first round; Arcane Skinwater eliminated it.

In conclusion, the debilitating effects of reckless and burning affected abilities damaged and destroyed all the allies' monsters That is the reason I don't like to use reckless and burning abilities.
