"Knowing When To Stop"
"It is more common to hear People preaching about persistence and perseverance.
Messages about "don't give up" are spread across every corner as we go about our day-to-day activities, and it's beautiful.
We need motivation to keep going, to face life, and so on. It's fantastic how we have a sufficient supply of those things that will keep us going; however, sometimes, we may be enduring and sacrificing on the wrong things without knowing it.
It is not common to see messages about knowing when to quit, when to know that something is not going to amount to anything.
No wonder people struggle and spend a long time on certain things only to be disappointed in the end.
It's annoying how we focus so much on holding onto things that we are aware that they will not yield anything, all in the name of "never give up."
Someone might be aware that their relationship is toxic, yet still hold on to it, hoping that someday, it will be better. Someone might be losing money continuously in a project that has proved unproductive, yet keep spending on it with the hope that it will get better.
There are several other cases like this, and sadly, sometimes people don't tell us the truth, even when they come to them for advice; they try to use motivation and positivity to give us temporary solace.
For this prompt, how do we know that we are channeling our energy into the wrong thing? When do you think one should stop going? At what point should we quit and channel our energy into something else?

This initiative is for the purpose of nurturing newbies about some basic principles of Hive. Every week the community will engage all newbies and intermediate Hivians on a weekly prompt that will help us check and correct newbies minor errors on Hive Blockchain.
Aside the weekly prompt, we welcome all kinds of post from newbies, blog and vlog. This will help us check and monitor their activities before sending them to the community's that fits their kinds of content.
The Need For This?
It is very common in different communities how newbies don't know how to navigate and play according to some simple rules of the community. It's sometimes difficult for newbies to locate their various niche on Hive so, aside advertising and onboarding newbies on Hive, we want to make their journey more easier by giving them tips on how to improve their posts and the community that best suits their kinds of content.
