Spotlight

How has Hive changed my perspective? Well, I've been a part of some online and possibly Web 3 stuff. All for some good measures. However, they proved to be a waste of time, and schemes that were an energy waster as well. Now, to say that there could be a platform, a blockchain, a space where the skills I possess could be appreciated and rewarded, all free, with no registration fees? That's a total game changer and a whole new orientation.

Not that every day is slow and easy, of course. Some days the weight of everything feels too heavy, too loud, too immediate. It’s a nap for me on those days. Even 10 or 15 minutes supine can change everything. I close my eyes, let my consciousness fade, drift into dream and awaken a little softer than I fell asleep. It’s not about sleep, finally, it’s about letting myself stop.

One of the biggest changes Hive brought into my life is the aspect of writing. Before joining Hive, writing was not my kind of thing. In fact I saw writing as a heavy task and workload. Sitting down to write something was a burden to me. I find it difficult to express myself in written words. But as I engage in Hive, it changed that aspect of me completely. It gave me a reason to write every day. It gave me a reason to sit down and try, even when I didn’t feel like it.
