I will let @loadreaper explain his experience a bit before coming to work with us, but we also sent him for 2x short courses before he came to join us.
This job we did together. He helped me with a lot of cutting and grinding and measuring so it was supervised. At this stage I did all the welding (I was a bit rusty) but we managed.
Next week I go to the docks and he will have to do some welding on his own.
So is this @loadreaper doing the welding on his own while you sneak off and paint 40K models ? 😁

yes I have had training and experience in use all sorts of work equipment all though it has been a few years since i used them.
