Kalanchoe fedtschenkoi, native to Madagascar and not exactly a stonecrop, which are Sedums. If you plant some of it in full sun, they will turn pink.
I have these at home but I haven't seen the White-eyes try drinking from them. Probably because of cats!

It's a choice between wary birds or rat invasion.... the sunbirds happily visit the aloes and wilde dagga, they know that height is safe and there are white-eyes in the stamvrug tree
Instead of the cats just focussing on the rats. Yes, the birds all know that height is their best defence against the cats.
The white-eyes are very fast, and they pop down to grab a bit of the squirrels avocado, but they never linger.
