The Silver Bloggers Chronicles #15 - Fond memories with your grandparents
The Idea of the Chronicles
... kinda began when our community advisor SilverScribe came up with the Memoir Mondays: for an entire year, he came up with a new topic/question every Monday, and we loved it so much that fell into a kind of writer's block since it ended. Not really, but still...
So what was more obvious than find a way to keep it going? Something had to be done to tackle writer's block, or even the ‘all-time low’ on Hive...
The Silverators started brainstorming the hows and the whens to get an idea of what we could all share for the best of our community. To have a sort of "running gag" that never gets old.
Among the synonyms for memoir, we found chronicle. That was the solution ... our own chronicles! The Silverbloggers Chronicles: a place where we all keep our memories to share with the future. The Silvery Book of the Wise and a library of for silly, wild bunch of Silvers.
On Winning the Prize ?!
By supporting each other in the community, we are all winners, be it with an upvote, a tip, and/or a kind comment...
Since we "all" know that many are just chasing big votes, with not doing much at all, running behind the whales to get them to pay attention, craving for a vote of lots of dollar$. Or the ones being "good (?) followers" and trying to benefit from the Vitamin Relation until there's a Lambo in sight...!
We feel that a community should be there for its members, even if many humans are conditioned differently. It's about putting ego aside, because life is not about money, it's about happiness and joy and that everyone gets support for their best they give to the community.
You may say it's good to have dreams? Yes, we live these dreams to achieve the best for everyone. Remember - joy/happiness?!
So, why are we even writing about this while promoting the Chronicles for our community?
Because many members don't get high-profile support, doesn't mean we can't "help" ourselves. Also, to understand that the idea of a memoir library for future generations is probably not the way to get rich, rather it's about sharing viewpoints, knowledge, and the occasional good laugh. It's about individuals, nature, and happiness.
And to be sure that we continue to curate the pearls in our midst!
The SB-Chronicle Prompt #15
For the #sb-chronicles... we publish a prompt post on a Monday, so that anyone who wants to join in, can write their own "Silverblogger" Chronicle for future generations to read!
If you would like to suggest a prompt, yourself... please feel welcome to contact one of the "Silverators"!
Fond memories with your grandparents
Do you have fond memories of your grandparents? Share some of your favorites.
In my case, I only knew my maternal grandmother and my paternal grandfather. My paternal grandmother passed away when I was two years old, and my mother lost her father at a young age.
I have some nice memories of my grandfather, but not too many, to be honest. However, my grandmother, Pitita as we used to call her, was very special in my life. I need to write a post, and it wouldn't be enough to cover all the beautiful things I remember about her. I think the memories I treasure most from my adult life with her are the beautiful bond she created with my son. Achi, as he used to called her, was not only his great-grandmother, but also his friend and accomplice.
The How-2 join the Silver Bloggers Chronicles
- Use the prompt question and answer it in your own Hive post.
- Post in our Silver Bloggers Community.
- Be sure to use #sb-chronicles as your first tag.
- Write 100% original content of at least 300 words.
- Put the link to your post into the comment section of your chosen prompt.
- Have fun!
Soon enough, we’ll have a "Book of Memories and Knowledge" for future generations. There is no time limit for all this... Write whenever you like and whatever prompt suits you. Just make sure you use the proper tag and put a link to your post in the comment section of the chosen prompt, so we can curate your story.
Last words...
We would love to get more eyes on this post and all community posts from - @hive-106316 - our Silver Bloggers Mother Account. This is why we make a point of reblogging your posts. Please do the same?!

Come and join our Silver Bloggers community
And a big THANK YOU for your support
Your ‘tips’ and ‘delegations’ help to support the community! Thank you ! The “true” way of a community is to support each other, also on Hive. Since it doesn't make sense to wait for the mercy of a millionaire to send us $$$ - we support each other with the best we can. Tipping or delegating is a way to show that you appreciate the work . It works even after a contribution has gone through the seven days of voting, and thus the opportunity for gracious "giving" is over. Another plus - that way no one can ‘steal’ your given support, not even the often ego-selfish, pointless Down-Voters. We thank you for all the support you give, anywhere!

Oh, wow! This is a beautiful theme about our grandparents. I do have beautiful memories with my maternal grandparents, but the sad thing is I only have one photo of "mi abuelo" (grandfather), this is how we all call him. 🥰
Hello, dear SilverBloggers and friends.
This is a prompt for the chronicles that I believe will touch many heartstrings. Reliving our ancestors will be quite an experience.

Lovely topic to write about, I have very fond memories of my grandparents❤️
Talking about my grandparents is always a moving experience for me! I always enjoy talking about them, so it will be a pleasure to write about the roots of this tree that I am. See you soon!
I only knew my maternal grandmother, but I was a little girl when she died. However, I feel a deep connection to my grandparents. In my post, I will write about why. Family memories seem like a beautiful topic to me.
