College Life: Lunchtime on the terrace with some coy students
I will miss teaching at this college next year, but I do not regret my decision not to renew my contract.
Yep, it's done! I thanked the administration for offering me some classes next year, but turned them down. In an earlier post I wrote that I was thinking about walking away and how I had a sudden moment of clarity:

All that remains now is to enjoy my last teaching term and give my students good value. They are a great bunch and teaching the second and third years has been a lot of fun.
I was heading off campus at lunchtime when I was called over by a couple of my former students. We were joined by one of my current students and chatted merrily away for half an hour or so.
As I was about to leave, one of the students grabbed her phone and took this pic using the "BeReal" app to get the double-pic effect.

Thanks @parkerlee - I've always enjoyed teaching at this college, but the current second and third years are are a great bunch. Lots of laughter and play-acting.
