The llaneras festivities of my village.
I feel a pleasure to be ble to share with my blog in this fabulous C/WEEKEND EXPERIENCES, it's nice to feel the excitement of taking responsibility for the possibility of writing the great moments of my life with the musical art of the Venezuelan llanera culture.
The weekend was spectacular for my spiritual growth. I hear a call in front of my house, I check the clock, it's three o'clock in the afternoon. I look out of the window; I open the door because I am receiving a visit from my friend Samuel on Saturday afternoon.
-I've come to invite him to join us at my house because Pancho Ávila, who is going to animate the Amanecer Llanero of Caicara del Orinoco, will be waiting for him at six o'clock in the afternoon.
-Thank you very much, Samuel; at six o'clock in the evening I will be at your house, Pedro, very kind of you to invite me to your house. That's how we say goodbye. I organise myself to go out to reciprocate Francisco "Pancho" Ávila's cordial invitation.
Time goes by, with its immense sobriety, as is his order and his command, swift and fleeting; imperative. I am in front of Pedro's house, I call and they invite me inside. They suggest that I lean against the furniture. Yes, that's right, I settle into the armchairs and relax and observe the walls covered with extraordinary works of art by Venezuelan plastic artists. My amazement is mind-boggling. Seeing the works of art, in a home that is silent. In the context of my complexity, I appreciate the readings of each of the works and the spiritual greatness of each of these masters of painting, they are artistic projects achieved with exquisiteness. They call outside. Rosangela is invited in, a woman with dark skin, black eyes, natural black hair, no dyes in her hair.
Samuel's phone rings. It is Pancho, who has arrived in Caicara del Orinoco. Samuel goes out to look for him to guide him and bring him home. Pancho goes inside the house with Samuel. He greets, effusively, to all present, with hugs; we sit down, we converse pleasantly on the topic of the cultural diversity, the ancestrality, the rich patrimoniality llanera, the transcendental cultural facts that were paralysed. Another topic is linked in the conversation with respect to the cultural heritage. I talk about the ancestral line of the transmission of heritage from the family generation to the present and future generations. The Venezuelan plains culture prevails in the atmosphere, with its essence, tangible and intangible, with its spiritual face, with its extraordinary cultural presence.
We are offered a simple dinner with lapa guisada, a delight. We finish the meeting; we retire to continue towards the event that is going to take place this Sunday night to dawn with the presentation of the icon of the "llanera" song Jorge Guerrero.
I retreat to my house to stock up on energy and show up in the early hours of the morning in the park where the big sound systems are on.
The place is crowded with the presence of thousands of people, I am equipped with my Android phone and the stabiliser. I set out to get to the VIP area, but I stop; I'm left outside. Pancho Ávila recognises me for the cultural work done in the Orinoco region. Pancho introduces the artist Jorge Guerrero, the crowd is spasmodic, the mobile phones are on during the whole presentation of the "Culter llanero". I am entertained by the people dancing to the rhythm of the maestro José Archila with his harp and his ensemble. My friends and pupils are everywhere. They are hugs and a lot of happiness that embrace me with their joy of meeting again. It is the joy of life. Pleasant emotions are experienced.
The presentation of the Warrior of the llanera culture ends, other artists continue, and I retire to my cousin Beba to sow some seeds of desert roses in the garden of her house. It is a planning that is given in my weekend, with great happiness in my soul.
Thank you for reading my post with my most important events of Saturday and Sunday.
