Christmas delights.
Hello, friends and community, greetings. Today, I am sharing my new idea about Christmas food. Making Fancy, delicious, easy and festive pie cum cookies using winter apples.
Ingredients:
11/2 cup flour
2 tsp sugar
1 tsp baking powder
pinch of salt
100 grams of vegan butter.
350 grams of apple slices
3 tbsp apple butter
1/5 cup sugar
1 tbsp cinnamon powder
1 tsp lemon juice.
Mix butter baking powder, and salt into flour and make scrambles. gradually adding 1 and 1/2 tbsp cold water makes the crust. see my previous post link here.

clean and make thin slices of apples remove seeds and core.
add lemon juice and cinnamon and sugar keep aside.
Lightly roll the crust about 2-3 mm thick using a rolling pin.
Using a cookie cutter or cup cut the crust into small rounds.
Roll a little more if you have a small cookie cutter.
Make leaves from the rest of the leftover crust.
Press the rounds with fingers to make an apple shape.
Use a drop of water to fix the leaves.
Set them on baking paper.
Here our base is ready.
Spread 1/4 tsp apple butter on each apple crust.
Start organizing apple slices on the apple crust.
first two slices.
the next two slices on the top, manage to make layers that look nicer.
I used three layers
Here they are ready to go in the oven.
Bake them for around 8 minutes in a preheated oven at 200 C.
after 8 minutes reduce the heat to 160 C and bake for around 8 minutes more if you want it crispy go for 10 or more minutes instead of 8 minutes.
They are ready. let them cool on a wire rack.
Crispy, delicious cookies cum pies are a delight during the Christmas season.

Wow! This is creative, and somehow, my mind could not get around the idea that the apple shape was a pastry. This is a wonderful idea for Christmas treats:)
Thank you, very much dear friend @millycf1976. when I was thinking about something different than routine that idea came to mind because winter apples were small and red-skinned.So it has happened. I appreciate your support. Greetings :)

Thank you for stopping by and Merry Christmas to you.:)
As a food lover I would like to say I m really amazed from your way of decorating to the food and all the ingredients like flour, baking powder, apple are available in my kitchen so I will try to cook this by repeating above mentioned cooking steps one day.
You can buy ready pie crust or pastry from the shop and cut it. It will be very easiest way to make it. But if you like to do it from scratch you can follow the above steps. thank you for stopping by. :)
