Celebrating Easter in Norway

Each culture has its specialty and traditional way of celebrating the festivals.
In Norway, Norwegians celebrate Easter cultural way with many art exhibitions, Easter markets, and children's activities.

Paintings exhibition by local artists.

During Easter time, we can admire paintings, metal artworks, and ceramic creations from local artists. Additionally, kindergartens encourage the children's creativity which shows in place to place town squares.
This is what happens in Norway at Eastertime, especially in our town.

many norwegians head for the mountains to enjoy spring skiing and hopefully get some sun after a long dark winter
