A Day Between Earth and Sky

One more day in Bir and one more day to devote myself to adventure. Since I have come here to volunteer in a trail race, most of my time is spent in the event itself, whereas whenever I get some time, I do something for myself here and make my day memorable.

This is Bir, which is located in Himachal Pradesh. Famous for paragliding, this place has a lot of charm among tourists. Paragliding pilots from all over the country and abroad come here and have a lot of fun by flying long distances. Some photos are from yesterday when I went to Chhena Pass.

From Chhena Pass, I saw a village located along the Uhl River, whose name is Chota Gram. The villagers have done farming on the river bank, nowadays potato and pea farming is at its peak. In the photo, you can see terraced fields which look very spectacular. Villages located in the Himalayas and villagers working in the fields of the villages. Just thinking about this gives me a dream which I am coming back from.

Every day paragliders are seen flying over the Dhauladhar mountain range, I enjoy this view all day. There are clouds on the other side of the valley in the sky which have almost completely covered the mountains, looking at them it seems that it might rain. Pink flowers have bloomed in the oleander plant which are shining towards the stars in today's bright sunlight.

There is a Buddhist stupa behind which Hanumangarh mountain is showing its existence. The wall of Sherabiling Monastery is painted red which cannot be seen from this photo because this post is black and white. Anyway, this is today's post and I hope you liked the paragliders flying in the sky.
