Saturday Grocery Day with a Chocolate Ice cream Treat

Hello my dear Hivers from the @hiveph community. I hope you have a happy and well spent weekend today!

Today I want to share about me and my husband going out for some groceries on this Saturday and having a chocolate ice cream treat.

While most of the people in our town are busy preparing foods and going to the cemetery to visit their departed loved ones, we on the other hand went our way out to do some groceries.

Our rice is about to be out of stock and even our groceries like spices, powdered soap and meats for viands. So we decided to do the groceries today.

We went on a motorcycle ride for about 10 minutes to get to the nearest market. First we bought a half sack of rice. It has net weight of aboult twenty-three and half (23.5) kgs.

After buying it, we went to a meat shop to buy some meat for our viands. We bought some chicken meat, pork meat, lumpia, ham, and some other goods.

We do our groceries weekly because I find it more convenient rather than doing it every day. I also observed that we save more if we do it weekly. We can budget better rather than buying daily.

In the same meat shop, we saw some chocolate ice cream from our favorite local brand. The weather is a little bit hot so we decided to treat ourselves with it. The mix of cold and sweet really made the day better. It's so refreshing. It somehow washed away the hotness of the surroundings.

While eating we also saw a fried chicken outside and decided to give it a try as well. It's just 20 pesos each anyway. We thought it's already a good treat to ourselves.

After eating our snacks, we decided to go home as lunch time is approaching. That's all for today. Thanks for reading this far. Til my next post!
