My Daughter's 3rd Birthday and a Heavy Rain Twist

Hello my dear Hivers of the family&friends community! Hope you're all doing well and safe.

Today I will share with you about my daughters 3rd birthday celebration.

We didn't plan about it much because we were busy. I was in a three day seminar during that time. Her birthday is on the third day of the seminar. And since it's the last day, the giving of certificates is also during the closing program which took so so long.

I have to wait for my certificate as it won't be given unless it's the owner who will receive it. We waited until almost 6 pm to get my certificates. So we hurriedly went to the bakeshop where we reserved a customized cake.

The rain added to the excitement of the day. On the way home we were wet as the rain poured so hard. Gladly the cake was not damaged as we were only riding a motorcycle.

When we reached out house, our family, relatives and some workmates of my sister were already there. Our daughter was not dressed yet so after we changed with dry and comfy clothes, I immediately looked after my daughter. Changed her into her yellow flowery dress and combed her hair lightly.

As we were the only ones they waited because literally our family already did all the cooking and arranged our living room as the venue. We were really thankful to them the celebration was made possible.

Before eating, my brother, who is a pastor gave some word of God to make the celebration more meaningful. It has become our tradition to have it every celebration we have. To which everyone listened and reflected.

After the short bible study,everyone enjoyed the food and the children happily played. I can see the happiness of our daughter during that day. The ice cream made her birthday more joyful for her because it's her favorite.

Everyone enjoyed and I guess everyone had a great night. Even if some seated on the floor only because our sala is not that big.
