Finding New Friends From Our 5-day Multigrade Seminar For Teachers
Hello my dear Hivers of the family&friends community. I hope you're all well and safe.

Today I wanna share with you how I gained more friends from a seminar I attended for teachers.

Almost every year, our schools division organizes a seminar specifically for Multigrade teachers like me. This is their initiative to retool us about the teaching pedagogies and strategies specialized for multigrade teaching.

Multigrade has a different way of teaching set up compared to the usual monograde classes. Teachers handle two or more than two grade levels in one classroom. It is not easy, that's why I appreciate this kind of events organized for us.

Since there are lots of Multigrade teachers in our division, I get to meet lots of them every year.

During this year, I was already transferred to another station and so I mingled with new faces. Luckily my co-teachers are kind and I got to be friends with their friend teachers as well. Adding more friends to my list.

The people I appreciate most during this seminar were the roommates I had. We shared the same room. We cam from different municipalities but it seems like we knew each other for so long when we talk. It just felt so light talking with them.

Every night after the sessions and discussions becomes our chitchat time. We talked about anything under the sun. About life, live life, family life, education, and so on. The eldest of us was like our mother during those five days. She looks after us if we have eaten, wakes us up early in the morning to take a bath just like a mother does.

During the day, I spend most of my time with my co-teachers and teachers from different municipalities. I got to gain more friends from them.

We had lots of photos to keep for memories. The seminar did not just gave us new insights about our duties and better teaching strategies, I also gained more friends to my list.

It is one of the perks of having these seminars. I get to widen my connections. Now, whenever there are inter-school activities we don't treat each other as competitors but companions.

That's all for today. Thanks for reading this far. Til my next post.
