Day Out for Errands and Little Surprises at the Mall: Free Massage
Hello my dear Hivers from the @hiveph community. I hope you're all well and safe.
Today was one of those days when I had to step out to run some errands. Just the usual mom tasks that keep the household running smoothly. My main goal for the day was to buy baby essentials for my little Yusef. I grabbed his milk, alcohol, wipes, and of course, a few groceries we needed at home.

Inside the mall, I noticed some interesting and timely sights. There was this stall beautifully decorated for All Souls’ Day, filled with candles, some ghost masks, skull face, evil looking pumpkins and other remembrance items. It reminded me that November is just around the corner, and here in the Philippines, we give special time to honor our departed loved ones.

But that’s not all. Just a few steps away, I spotted a huge Christmas tree already standing tall inside the mall! I wasn’t even surprised, though. We Filipinos are known for having the longest Christmas season Most of the establishments including this mall start decorating as early as September. Still, it made me smile to see it. There’s always something warm and joyful about Christmas decor even when it’s still October.

After finishing picking my essentials I went to the counter to pay.

After paying, my husband and I were heading toward the exit when two men suddenly approached us. They turned out to be merchandisers promoting massage equipment. They asked if our total purchase reached a thousand pesos because they were giving out a free reflexology massage as part of a promo. Since we did qualify, we decided to give it a try.

It was quite relaxing, but we couldn’t stay until it finished. We only had our feet massaged because the sky was already cloudy, and it looked like rain was coming soon. So we thanked them and hurried home before we get caught in the rain.

It was a productive day. Errands done, baby supplies restocked, and a little unexpected massage treat in between. Not bad for a day out :)

That's all for today. Thanks for reading this far. Til my next post!

Thank you so much for this @hivebuzz. Another milestone for me here in hive ey!
It must be fun to see Christmas and Spooky designs at once in a single place. As someone who likes Christmas, I always enjoy visiting to places that have already put some Christmas designs. I just feel the Christmas spirit even more whenever I visit such place. And now that november 1 and 2 is fast approaching, Im glad the mall took time to give some spooky vibes to the customers. The two really complements each other. But what sounds more fun is a free massage. You got lucky there @heymariel 👌 I hope it kept you relaxed until now.
It is really fun specially the massage, haha. I really like it. It calmed the muscles in my legs. Sadly I was not able to have the whole body massage, haha. The merchandiser actually should have started massaging my back using the equipment but I had to stop it before we get soaked in the coming rain.
That free massage was such a nice surprise i totally agree about how malls here can make you feel both Halloween and Christmas vibes at the same time. Its always fun to see candles and pumpkins beside giant Christmas trees 😂
Yeah I actually enjoyed the massage. It would have been better if I had a whole body massage if not for the cloudy weather, hehe.
