CLOSING OF THE TWINS' PROJECT [ESP-ENG]
ENGLISH
We are in the final stage for the culmination of the school year, in all schools are making the closures of projects, then comes the delivery of ballot and in the case of my younger children at the end of the month is the graduation ceremony, where they say goodbye to the initial and start in basic.
The twins' project was based on their life project, on what they want to be when they grow up, because it is a bit of a rough topic, in my opinion, I started to ask them some time ago what they wanted to be when they grow up, I say that I think it is rough because at that age (6 years old) few children think about a profession or trade, For example one of the twins told me that she wanted to be a mom and a grandmother, and the other one told me that she wanted to be a wonder woman 🤣🤣, so I had to start explaining that what they wanted to be was fine, but that apart from that they should study so they could work and thus be able to support themselves, of course, I gave them all this explanation adapted to their age.
So, Georgette my older twin told me that she wanted to be a doctor, her brief explanation was: “To cure and to hospitalize children”, she also wants to be a savory food Chef, to cook meat, pasta, salads, chicken, among other things. I think all this is because months ago she was hospitalized and that for her was a very significant process, in the sense that she always remembers when they were giving her the treatment, as well as constantly remembering the children who were close to her during this process, as for being a Chef, in my house, my husband always cooks, he loves to do it, of course she has grown up seeing that.
Sabira, My youngest twin told me she wanted to be a sweet food chef, as she was going to bake for everyone lots of cupcakes, chocolate cakes, guava bread and cookies, I think, just like the other twin she loves to have her daddy bake her desserts and cakes for her every birthday.
What they were both present was, what they were going to work on to earn a lot of money to go for a walk 🤣🤣🤣.
In their classroom there was a lot of diversity of professions or trades, the children wanted to be firefighters, policemen, more doctors, more chef, baseball players, engineers, among many more.
It was a very nice closing of the project, I was grateful for the dedication of the teacher during the whole school year.
Kids normally will answer like that when asked about what they would want to become one day. I admired how patiently you explained to them what is really meant by that question in real life and the way you encouraged them to study well for their future. This is the kind of guidance that kids need, gradually and in a subtle and fun way, they need to learn to distinguish between make-believe and reality.
Hello to your twins. It's normal that at their age, they might change their minds about their dream professions one day. Maybe it's too early to say, but of course, it's better that at a young age, they have something in mind about the future. We can always help them to make up their minds as they grow up by exposing them to different options and possibilities that might spark their interests and inclinations.
You're doing great, teacher mommy! 💝
Wow what beautiful words! Thank you so much! A big hug!
I really admire how patiently you explained what that question means while inspiring them to study hard for their future. Your gentle and fun way of guiding them is exactly what they need to slowly understand the difference between make-believe and reality. It’s perfectly normal for your twins or child to change their minds about their dreams at this age, but with your love and support, they’ll surely discover their true passions as they grow. Love lots😘
Thank you so much for reading and commenting. Your words are very accurate. Best regards.
