BEAUTIFUL CREPE PAPER FLOWERS [ESP-ENG]

Saludos amigos, espero todos estén muy bien por acá.
En esta oportunidad les vengo a a relatar unas flores que aprendí a realizar el día de hoy, todas hechas de papel creppe.
En una oportunidad les informé por acá que no soy muy buena con las manualidades, sin embargo en ocasiones me ha tocado hacerlas, como por ejemplo para ayudar a mis hijos a realizar algunos trabajos y en otras, cómo está ocasión, que ya estamos cerca de carnaval y debemos adornar una comparsa para el desfile de carnaval que se realizará en la escuela donde trabajo, así que siempre estoy dispuesta a aprender cosas nuevas, ya que nunca sé cuándo pueda necesitar ese conocimiento.
Así que procedo a explicarles el paso a paso de como se realiza la flor:
MATERIALES A UTILIZAR:
- Papel creppe.
- Tijera
- Una cuerda de cualquier material no mayor a 10 cm.
PROCEDIMIENTO:
- Se dobla el papel creppe a la mitad y se procede a cortar, trabajaremos solo la mitad para que la flor sea grande, si la quieren trabajar más pequeña, también se puede hacer.
- Luego se desenrolla todo el papel hasta que quede tendido sobre la mesa o sobre la superficie que lo vayas a hacer.
- Una vez ya tendido se doble por la mitad, al estar doblado se vuelve a doblar por la mitad, para que queden 4 capas, de papel.
- Con la tijera vamos A recortar las partes de los lados que están unidas, para que queden las capas totalmente sueltas.
- Posterior a esto vamos a realizar varios dobles, cómo de 3 cm aproximadamente, como referencia les puedo decir que quedará con forma de abanico.
- Una vez realizado lo anterior, con la cuerda, la colocamos en el medio y amarramos de tal manera, que quede un poco ajustado, pero no mucho porque luego no se podrá abrir.
- Se recortan las puntas para que queden redondas y no cuadradas.
- Luego se abre por la mitad y se estira un poco, notarán que el papel se va cediendo.
- Ya para finalizar nuestra flor, separamos cada una de las capas, una por una, siempre tomando en cuenta que estirarla hacia la parte de arriba.
- Al finalizar obtendrás unas hermosas flores.
Soy de las personas que dicen que el Don de las manualidades nace con las personas, pero si se coloca empeño en querer aprender algo y se hace con calma, paciencia y cariño, todo sale bonito.

Today, I want to tell you about some flowers I learned to make today, all made from crepe paper.
I once mentioned here that I'm not very good at crafts, but sometimes I have to do them, such as to help my children with some projects, and other times, like now, because Carnival is coming up and we have to decorate a float for the Carnival parade that will be held at the school where I work. So, I'm always willing to learn new things, because I never know when I might need that knowledge.
So, I will explain step by step how to make the flower:
MATERIALS TO USE:
- Crepe paper.
- Scissors
- A piece of string of any material no longer than 10 cm.
PROCEDURE:
- Fold the crepe paper in half and cut it. We will only work with half of it so that the flower is large, but you can also make it smaller if you want.
- Then unroll all the paper until it is flat on the table or surface where you are going to work.
- Once it is flat, fold it in half. Once folded, fold it in half again so that you have four layers of paper.
- Use the scissors to cut the sides that are joined together so that the layers are completely loose.
- Next, make several folds, approximately 3 cm wide. As a reference, it will end up looking like a fan.
- Once you have done this, place the string in the middle and tie it so that it is slightly tight, but not too tight, otherwise it will not be able to open.
- Trim the ends so that they are round and not square.
- Then open it in half and stretch it a little; you will notice that the paper gives way.
- To finish our flower, separate each of the layers, one by one, always taking care to stretch them upwards.
- When you are finished, you will have some beautiful flowers.
I am one of those people who say that the gift for crafts is something you are born with, but if you put your mind to learning something and do it calmly, patiently, and lovingly, everything turns out beautifully.
