Here's my participation in the BeerSaturday 315 with a bit of a delay, but with two beers from the microbrewery Beauregard, specialized in dark beers, the Dark Mild and Tmavé Pivo. I'd had bad luck with the previous can, it had fallen "flat", for a nitrogenous beer, a shame (see BeerSaturday 313 - Irish Red). So let's see if these two beers can make up for it.

Voici ma participation au BeerSaturday 315 avec un peu de retard maias avec deux bières de la microbrasserie Beauregard, spécialisée dans les bières foncées, la Dark Mild et Tmavé Pivo. Je n'avais pas eu de chance avec la canette précédente, elle était tombée flat, pour une bière azotée, vraiment dommage (voir BeerSaturday 313 - Irish Red). Alors on va voir si c'est deux bières arrivent à rattraper le coup.

🍺 Tasting / Dégustation : Dark Mild

Dark Mild is an English red ale with only 3.2% alcohol. I didn't have the low alcohol content when I bought it. In the glass, the color is quite dark, with a light foam that quickly disappears. On the palate, I didn't like it too much, as it tasted a bit like cold coffee. But for a hot day, it drinks easily and quickly 😀.

La Dark Mild est une ale anglaise rousse avec seulement 3.2% d'alcool. Je n'avais pas le faible taux d'alcool lors de l'achat. Dans le verre, la robe est assez foncée avec une légère mousse qui disparait rapidement. En bouche, je n'ai pas trop apprécié car cela goutait un peu le café froid. Mais pour une journée chaude, elle se boit facilement et rapidement 😀.

🍺 Tasting / Dégustation : Tmavé Pivo

Tmavé Pivo is a Czech-inspired dark lager (hence the name Tmavé, I didn't know this type of beer) that has been fermented at low temperature for 6 weeks with pils grains. In the glass, the beer is dark with a pretty beige head. On the palate, the taste is rich and slightly bitter, thanks to the Saaz hops. Very drinkable for a dark beer. Finally a beer I like from this microbrewery 😀.

La Tmavé Pivo est une lager foncée d’inspiration tchèque (d'ou son nom Tmavé, je ne connaissais pas) qui a été fermentée à basse température pendant 6 semaines avec des grains pils bohème. Dans le verre, la bière est bien noire avec une jolie mousse beige. En bouche, on a un goût riche en saveur et légèrement amer grâce au houblon Saaz. Elle se boit très bien pour une bière foncée. Enfin une bière qui me plait dans cette microbrasserie 😀.

The design is the same, with a stylized B and a color palette that changes according to the type of beer. Simple and effective. In conclusion, I'm thinking of going straight to the microbrewery for an on-the-spot tasting, as so far I've had no luck with their beers.

On retrouve le même design avec ce B stylisé et une palette de couleur qui change suivant le type de bière. Simple et efficace. En conclusion, je pense aller faire un tour directement à la microbrasserie pour faire une dégustation sur place car pour l'instant je n'ai pas eu de chance avec leurs bières.
