Last Year's Result and My Hive Goal This Year

Is a new year and most people are making their New Year resolution. Is really important to have a plan. Reason is that making plans will really help in fulfilling and achieving ones goal. Is really a sad thing to see many living without a goal. Honestly I wonder how their life will really look like.

One thing is to set goal and another thing is to archive that goal. It is so unfortunate that many people today set goals and end up not archiving them. There are a lot of factors that can contribute to a person not achieving his or her goals. Will we discuss that later in this post but for now let's discuss how I started on hive and my progress last year.

How I Started on Hive and My Progress Last Year

I started blogging on the Hive platform on November 2022. When I started it wasn't all that easy for me and there was a lot of things not clear to me back then. We came to hive as a group, like 10 number. Everyday we discover new things and share it with each other. By then there wasn't something like threads and inleo. There was only leofinance as a community and other communities. We write in different communities starting from Actifit, hivegarden, Cleanplanet,stemsocial, among other. It was so unfortunate that although we struggle to write quality stuffs and to get upvotes some of this communities never helped us although some of them also did their best to help us with regular upvotes.

We didn't find favor in the weekend experience community. This community downvoted most of us even out side their community, trying to send us back to web2. So we stopped writing in that community.
As time progresses we discovered the leofinance community. I wrote like two to three time there. It is true I didn't receive any upvote on those post but I kept writing whenever I could.

I came to hive with nothing but today k can boost of something. Last year we saw threads being built and lunched. We also saw the #inleo platform be built. Such innovation marked the positive charge of my hive life. Inleo began what we know as decentralized voting Pattern. This decentralized voting pattern really help people like me to grow to where I am now.

Talking about my growth k can say that leofinance, Cleanplanet, and the Alive tribe should take credit for it. I wasn't all that good in writing long form posts at first, but by gradually writing in the above tribe and get to help from friends really helped me. The hive zealy campaign also smooth me into being a better writer. The inleo platform is also doing their better into turning me to an asset for the hive platform. I really appreciate all these which made me a better writer.

Life is stage by stage and your progress will be made manifest as long as you are consistent and determined.

There have been situations in the past that would have cold down my zeal and made me to quit. But because I was determined not to give up continued blogging regardless of those unfavorable times.
Today I have accumulated something that I'm very proud of. I have accumulated

These and more I have accumulated. For me k can say that this is just the beginning of my journey.

I'm less than a year and two months on the hive platform and j have accumulated all of these. I have greater plans for this year.

My 2024 Hive Plan

Just like I said earlier I see many making plans and ending up not fulfilling those plans. There are a lot of reasons that can cause it.
This year I have plans of reaching

• 3000 HP
• 5000 LP
• 20,000 Zing
• 10,000 Alive

These are the top coins in my list that i really want to accumulate more. Once I reach 5000 LP and 3000 HP I will feel much better honestly.

How I will Achieve My Plans

To achieve this year's goal I am tracking my goals on a weekly basis. I calculated what I need to reach this year's goal and divided it by 12. After dividing by 12 I then divide by 4. So I'll make sure I reach each weakly goal. By so doing I will achieve this year's goal and won't get tired along the way.

I will avoid the Spirit of procrastination. I will make sure I don't put off each days task. No matter how hard I found it I will make sure I perform each daily task.
By so doing my 2024 goal will really be a success.
Now let us discuss some of the factors contributing to unsuccessful actualization of goals.

There are many reasons as I said earlier. One of this reasons is Clarity on Setting Goals.
Each individual should know his or her limit. It is advisable to calculate your income and expenses and know what goal you can achieve. Sitting unrealistic goal may spoil the show and you may end up not achieving anything.

Let's say you have a goal of making 1,000 US Dollars in a year, don't you think it will be better to divide that 1,000 US Dollars by 12 months and see how much you will need to be making each month. I think breaking your goals into smaller goals and tracking them monthly will really go a long way in helping you achieve your goal.

Procrastination is another thing that anyone who is determined to reach his or her should avoid. Putting off task or delaying action will do you no good. Make sure to perform each task when due regardless of the situation. Always remember that there will be obstacle that will try to stop you from archiving your goals. Be mindful of those obstacles and avoid any kind of distraction both from within and outside.
Avoid self-doubt and fear. Be motivated and push on. Have it in mind that achieving your goals requires effective planning, commitment, consistency, and perseverance.
