The Fear of "what I ordered versus what I got" is becoming a trend amongst people who patronizes online vendors or online shops. Presently, the issues are presented by vendors who present another thing entirely online but delivers a different thing. Although, it is something serious but it has become an hilarious format on popular social media platforms like Instagram, tiktok and Twitter.

In essence when people get the delivery of what the ordered and it happens to be a different thing entirely, they make a video to portray the discrepancy between what was expected. All they do is, make a video of the original picture they saw that made them want to order that particular item and a follow up of the video of what the got That is unexpected.

Many people have been a victim of ordering for something online and not get in value for their orders in return. One time, I saw a phone Stand online, I liked it because it looked tall so I assumed that it would be long enough to capture full spaces. But unfortunately, when it got delivered to me it was in a small packet that got me wondering what could be in it.

When I unboxed it, I was totally disappointed at what I got because that was not my expectation that all. If only I had known it will be better to add more money to get value for what I wanted because that will serve me for my content creation. But when this order came I discovered that it was a table top phone stand that was not more than three to five inches tall.

They are different stories about how popular online shops like Jumia, temu, konga, jiji and so on delivers the wrong things to people. Although, we later discovered that it is people's fault whenever they get a different thing delivered to them. One of such reasons is due to the fact that people are in a haste to select an item because of the picture posted but they forget to read the description of the item before purchasing them. So at one end, it is the fault of the buyer and at another end it is also the fall of the online vendor because they used a wrong picture to deceive their customers.

In other words, people have been disappointed on days that are most important to them because vendors are careless with their distribution of orders. There was a lady for wanted to have a photo shoot for her birthday, she ordered a 26inches blonde hair from an online vendor but when did delivery was made the vendor sent a 24inches black hair. This mistake was costly and the lady had to use something else as against her plan for the day. So as we can see is might be a hilarious trend but these actions have negative impact on people. For this reasons, there are people who are scared of patronizing online vendors because of these mistakes.

This is why I prefer physical shopping to online shopping.

I like the fact you presented each side of both party's at the end of the day it all boils down to consumer to be more clever. However it is an unavoidable to be scammed or make mistake when ordering online let this be a lesson for us buyers. A great tip is look up the followers of the store , check their social media and reviews of their product , it might take time but I think it is necessary.
