THE PREVALENT CASES OF INJUSTICE AGAINST MEN AND WOMEN

Cases of injustice have become more prevalent all over the world in various ways why some implement radical Justice to some situations others could carry our jungle Justice to met out quick punishment to offenders. I believe everyone has been victim of injustice in one way or the other because this can happen in the smallest form there are several ways a human being can can face injustice this includes: police brutality is a very common form of injustice, where the corrupt officers uses authority to molest, harass and steal from innocent citizens while they allow those who are at fault to go Scot free. There's also a form of injustice that has to do with discrimination this one is very popular it could be amongst friends, Nations, colors, tribes, ethnic groups, even amongst families, this could be based on race sexuality and gender.

Focusing on the topic at hand men and women have gone through a variety of injustice from their fellow men, fellow women or culture. Take for example gender-based violence is a common injustice that people suffer. These days it's not only the women that are victims of domestic violence even the men are at the receiving end. A while back, I was going through my social media platforms, a man was complaining of how his wife gets angry at every little thing,he even had evidence by making a recording of it because he knew it was bound to happen. She uses objects to fight him and he came online to speak up that in case anything happens to him or whatever people should be aware and take note of red flags in relationships.

Another incident that happened was with a female gospel musician in Nigeria, she would sing so marvelously well that people would feel the anointing of God whenever they sing her songs, but unfortunately she was a victim of domestic violence. Her husband was constantly beating her but she concealed this fact from her people, friends, families and pastors. Nobody knew until she met her demise. It was so sad that if only she has spoken to someone confidentially maybe just maybe there would have been a solution.

A prevalent case of injustice that people face these days is the case of stereotyping especially for the gender, men and women. In a contemporary society too much pressure is placed on the male gender they are seen as alpha males that should suppress their feelings and emotions, and do whatever it takes to be successful to provide for the family to live up to standard and so on. Also for the case of women, they are stereotyped in so many ways like having to bear children at a particular age, get married because they peers are getting married or that their biological clock is ticking,leave career for building homes take care of the family, raise the children properly, and perform their obligations as wife in the other room and so on.

These gender roles have become problematic and have melted out injustice to with victim. For those who are not strong enough and weak they give in to societal expectations relegating their dreams and aspirations to the background. Most times when we give up our dreams to settle for less in the future it makes such humans bitter and angry for the fact that they did not leave their life to the fullest or how it pleases them. I was watching a movie recently of how a single mother raised her two kids to successful points in life when the first child a boy was ready to settle down this woman vehemently disagreed because of the fact that the lady was few months older than the man and she ends better than the man. This woman gave conditions on how this lady should transfer her business to her boyfriend's name so that he can take control and she would do the housewife duties. From this movie I was glad that the lady refused the future mother-in-laws conditions and stood up for herself this mother-in-law wanted this lady to be a shadow of her younger cell when she gave up her dreams to nurture her family.

Career and family can work together when the two adult involved in the relationship join hands together to work together and build a good home. It doesn't have to be one sided before a marriage can work.
