RECURRING EXPENSES ARE NOT BAD CHOICES BUT RELEVANT DECISIONS

Ever since the week started in the new year,it feels like these hive communities went all out to dig out prompts and topics that are hot and intense for their members to crack their brains about. The first prompt from the #hivenaija community is about how we intend to be a better version of ourselves by letting go of unnecessary expense that can place us in debt,one that can be avoid buy we seem addicted to them. Hence,we are required to tell about our recurring expenses,their relevance to us as humans and what it would be like to be without them.

I believe every one is a victim of Non-essential recurring expenses that people often continue to incur despite not being strictly necessary. It's just a way of life that you do these stuffs for various reasons and while been at it,it incurs funds and spending either on a daily basis or at intervals. For me,I have recurring expenses that yeah I can do without but some times one just has to be a baby girl for a moment or two. This is why budgeting is necessary to curtail certain expense that will you not to dig in to your savings or planned out funds. Hence,keep some aside to watch that movie,get that membership, subscribe for that cable tv and so many more.

One of my most recurring expenses will have to be in the aspects of subscription services for my cable tv, mobile phones and laptops. But wait,can this expenses really be avoid?. This is an expenses that happens practically every month,to be honest it's less than a month because I do not understand the subscription service in Nigeria,when you pay for data subscription for one month,it doesn't last up to a month and if you are a heavy internet user,it could just be a week. Well, doing without subscriptions would mean that I have to do offline stuffs that would keep me busy 24/7 and it's never that easy as technology has taken over.

Another recurring expenses that I can avoid but It kind of difficult would be about Beauty and Personal Care,which includes the High-end skincare products, going to the salon for hair treatments and all that, or luxury cosmetics. All women love to look good this is why we spend a lot to get the good bone straight hair, human hair and hair accessories to look good. Although I am not addicted but I feel it's just necessary to have at least one good stuff that would be last longing and luxurious. Yeah, makeups is another recurring expenses because it looks like, new and efficient long lasting and durable products keeps coming out and you just have to grab a piece of it.

As a lady,we cannot do without clothes,underwears,bags,shoes and all. It becomes a recurring expense when you do not budget for stuff but you see a beautiful dress and just go in to the store and get it. We ladies practically do this once a while and don't blame us. Like they say "who no like better thing"...if you can get it,then run it 😆.

All these that I mention are relevant to keep us active and relieve us of stress. So I think recurring expenses are one that can not be avoided,they are not bad decisions but one that is somewhat necessary to keep the body and soul together.
