POVERTY AS A GLOBAL ISSUE

There are a lot of global issues in the world that if I had the chance to eliminate one it would bring about a rigorous change in the way people live. These global issues have become a major problem that affects people in different places of the world, these issues are so great that it's effect can bring about a natural disaster.

Some examples of global issues includes :Poverty, hunger and malnutrition, Inequality which can gender, racial, economic, unemployment, Human rights violations, Climate change, deforestation, pollution like air, water, plastic waste, loss of biodiversity, Scarcity of clean water, Pandemics like COVID-19, redundant healthcare system, Malaria, HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, Mental health issues, malnutrition, obesity, War, armed conflict, terrorism, Corruption, political instability, Cybersecurity threats, economic recession, rising cost of living, technology etc.

Out of all the affirmations, poverty is one of the global issues that I would like to eradicate if given the chance and opportunity to. Although, it is a very difficult task because this case of poverty is one that has eaten deep it to our Society and billions of people are suffering as their basic needs are not met. This is because poverty has become a condition where people cannot afford the necessity of life because the Lack the financial resources to buy commodity is such as food, water, House, Healthcare, education, etc. Because of lack of these financial resources they tend to feed from hand to mouth.

Poverty is not limited to any country in the world rather it is found in both advanced and third world countries. It is going to be a difficult task in eradicating poverty entirely from our Society and the world at large because it is interconnected with other issues such as unemployment, poor educational systems, corruption, greedy politicians, floods, drought, pandemic, disease etc.

One of the best solution I will profer to curb poverty is advocating for good governance. One thing that is killing our countries is The Selfish desires of politicians to only enrich themselves and relegate the masses to the background. When they want to get into political positions they give false promises on how they tend to make the nation better. After the elections, they forget their promise is and neglect they are duties as a government officials. The system is so corrupt that only the rich can afford basic and many things in the country while the poor is left on their own.

If we can just get one leader who is ready to put in the work and make the nation better, every other things will fall in place such as quality education, opportunity for people who cannot afford to go to school learn skill development, there would also be employment opportunities for graduates and access to healthcare facilities so that people can get good health care for cheaper amount.

Finally, we can also eradicate poverty by contacting global cooperation through NGOs to help tackle the issue.
