As we are all aware, there are different kinds of skills and this ranges from hard skills, soft skills, personal skills, physical skills, language skills, entrepreneur skills, social skills, cognitive skills, creative skills and so on.

Hence, the prompt which states that if we could instantly master one skill but forget one that we already know which one would we choose amongst the numerous skills available to us as human beings. Learning a skill can be both difficult and easier the same time but in all is requires effort, hard work and discipline.

In our countries and the world at large it is important for people to have at least one or two skills to be able to survive in this world, especially in a country where the system is not working and cares less about the welfare of the people.

As an individual, I can make clothes in different styles because I learnt how to. I remember when I was in the university in my second year, there was an academic strike that happened which made students to be redundant and stay at home for 7 months without school activities. When I came back home for the strike I decided that I did not want to be Idle and sit at home.

Instead I registered with a vocational center in my community where they taught young girls how to sew and make clothes. So far so good, these vocation or skills has helped me tremendously to reduce cost from making my clothes outside which is quite expensive.

In our contemporary world, technology is taking over and in other to be ahead you have to be versatile in one way or the other if you want to survive in the digital space. Check for instance people are making money from social media content creation like you to Facebook, tiktok, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and so on. Hence, one skill that can take over my sewing skill and would be worth it is the knowledge of how to use the Artificial Intelligence skills to produce content that would bring in money and make me earn in dollars. With the way things are going AI videos are taking over the social space. These days people can conveniently and economically creates videos without having to depend on other people.

In conclusion, this is the one skill that would entice me to halt my fashion designing skills even though it's not possible, I would inculcate both to earn tangible income.
