LOH #178: PRIORITIZING MY FAMILY FIRST ABOVE ANYTHING ELSE

Hello hivers and happy new week

I definitely do agree with the phrase "family comes first" because family is not just an ordinary word but one that describes people that are attached to you emotionally, psychologically, spiritually and physically. So I do not take them for granted. Why I would say the phrase that says "I am my top priority" sounds selfish because in this world no one person can achieve everything in the life without having to pass through one person or Another. What I mean is no One lives alone in isolation no matter how introverted you claim to be, people must cross your parts either positively or negatively. In view of the present #ladiesofhive community contest for this week, I will give my take on why I choose that family comes first in whatever I do,hence the question below.

What do you think about the phrase "𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭?" Do you agree with it? Or do you prefer the phrase "𝐈 𝐚𝐦 𝐦𝐲 𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲." I would like to know what you think.

Prioritizing my family has been an amazing experience that I would love to encounter over and over again. The love care and attention I receive from family members and I dish out to them is one that will definitely make me place them above any other person. From experience there are occasions or situations where it is only family members that would do what they do for you because strangers can never. When you are with the right family, the unconditional love you receive is worth much more than money can buy. To be honest this does not have to come from relations that you call family by birth but we have friends that have done so much more that they no longer seem as friends but rather families.

My immediate family is nuclear and we consist of just four members who make up my family, I do not take them for granted at all because they have become my foundational support system over time sometimes I just sit back and wonder that "what would have happened if I had didn't have this kind of family". The support is so genuine and so real that comparing my family to other families is impossible the genuity of their Love Is Immeasurable or anything else. So considering the fact that my family has been everything I tend to place them above anything and anybody else. for instance, whenever there are financial struggles in my family I do not hesitate or think twice before I offer my assistant this is because I know that if I was in that position they would do anything for me as well.

Additionally, my family and I have been too thick and thing we've been together for years without separation, disunity, fight or any negative vices so with the positive vibes I get from my family and the fact that whenever I call to them they always hear me out has grown me deeper emotionally and psychologically to place them first. In most of the things I do these days, I communicate them first with my family members most times when I am bored and need someone to talk to or confide in, I could call my brother and we would talk for long, discussing about issues and finding solutions to them. As a family we eat together, we pray together, we do virtually everything together, and this has grown to strengthen the bond we share.
