JOLLOF RICE IS A CELEBRATORY MEAL I WOULD PREPARE FOR HOSTILE ALIEN INVASION

Hello hivers,

It's another episode of The Hive naija weekly community prompt so far so good this year has been lased with so many educative and entertaining prompts that are a means to exercise the mind which allows us to share experiences on both the real and the unreal. So for this week's prompt we are to discuss about the possibility of alien invasion, and the Fate of humanity resting on our shoulders. We are made to narrate the type of food which we are intend to serve our hostile visitors i.e the aliens whenever they come around, the kind of dish be it cultural, traditional or intercontinental which we believe can save humanity, that is the world in general. Stay tuned to know what my thoughts are.

Although I'm not really a fan of believing in the future existence of aliens. We only get to hear about them in movies, comics,articles and so on. They are just mere speculations of what can come up in the future. We are made to understand that scientist are deeply researching for extra terrestrial beins that exist on other planets. Hence, they believe that there are signs of life on other spheres of the Earth be it below or above other than earth. So far they have been no confirmed evidence of such speculations that aliens exist.

So for the purpose of this prompt, if at all aliens should invade the Earth especially my country which is Nigeri, I would use the dish which has become traditional to Nigerians,which has several varieties called RICE to entice them and enchant them into surrendering and not harming my people. Thus, I intend to use the spellbinding dish of JOLLOF RICE , A special Nigerian made dish which captivates and enchants with its unique flavors, presentation, or a combination of both. If this dish is prepared in the special way possible ,with all the ingredients used in their appropraiate proportions,trust me even aliens would not resist the aroma, the taste, the flavor, and all that comes with the dish.

Why jollof rice? I choose jollof rice because it is a widely accepted and delicious dish, one that is widely loved and cherished. Rice in general is also described as a celebratory meal in Nigeria because it holds personal significance. So you can understand that when we prepare this meal for hostile people, it has a way of softening their hearts and winning their souls. So jollof rice a popular west African dish is very suitable for this occasion. This dish is made with various ingredients such as tomatoes bell pepper, Scotch pepper, spices like Maggi, onions, ginger,garlic, salt. We can also use proteins like fried chicken fish Turkey cow meat beef and so on. Also there is the addition of vegetables like carrot, pea and so many more.

In view of all this, when all the ingredients are properly cooked and the jollof rice is finally made the reddish color it gives is so attractive coupled with the vegetables and ingredients added to. This is irresistible to anyone especially the aroma. Thus, I believe this would be a captivating meal that would change the heart of the aliens from being hostile to accommodating and gentle to the people of my country in Nigeria.
