The way we communicate to people is very essential to pass information or express our ideas and emotions. Although some people find it difficult to comprehend, hence they tend to attach unnecessary meanings to what people say and make it ambiguous. Arguments can be healthy and at the same time unhealthy depending on the context of ideas been pondered upon. Some arguments have been so bad that they lead to casualties and even death, these unhealthy arguments can happen at anytime to any one be it friends, family, husband and wives, siblings, teachers, students, games and so on.
For instance, when his watch football, arguments are bound to happen especially between spectators or fans of opposite clubs. This is a very common happening in Nigeria where in football centers you see boys arguing vehemently after watching a game. They practically argue about how the referee was partial, the defenders were not doing their jobs properly by defending the ball or that the coach was not calculative enough to put in viable players at specific times. These can be regarded as healthy but it becomes unhealthy when the argument becomes heated and violent.
At one point it was in the news when there was a clash between football fans who happened to be cult members of different fraternities. They didn't take this likely and what was supposed to be a bake for relaxation turned out to be a bloodbath.
I have been involved in academic arguments with my fellow colleagues or students that have turned out to be useful. I have noticed that argument can be managed constructively and effectively in a way that it can also be healthy and beneficial to those invovled. One advantage of engaging in healthy arguments is the fact that they help individuals to express their different viewpoints.
Again, arguments are a best way to solve problems and also address conflicts, one time in school we had a conflict on what a subject matter really about, while some were debating arguing that it was a poem of love, others claimed that it was mere infatuation and we all had great points to back it up. In the end we were able to realize that there are different angles a subject can go and arguments proved it. We were able to make sense out of it.
So healthy arguments are worthwhile and advisable as against unhealthy and violent ones.

Your article clearly states the benefits of arguments and when it can become unhealthy and not good.
I can relate to the football arguments. While I was in secondary school this very football arguments could cause a fight.
Thanks for your kind words
I hate academic arguments so much because most times, the people I’m involved with end up realizing I’m right and then it’s another argument about how I “know too much” so no. I don’t know anything, I’ll just be quiet.
Well you are right... Academic arguments can be so tasky... Thanks for your input
