Putting people in their places is one act that we as human beings need to learn to avoid unhealthy and unnecessary relationship with certain people who are not worth it. Nobody is perfect but somehow the energy level of a particular persons can either make or Mar you. For instance me as a person I love to be returned with the kind of energy I placed in a particular relationship, friendship or family gathering. Because in recent times dealing with people who only a stores and use you to certain extent would just place you on a pedestal that is not healthy. So cutting off people at certain times can bring about a healthy living, because the mental stress you get from indulging with those set of people can bring about stress which is unhealthy.

When some Saturday relationships proves to be non- beneficial staying away or cutting off is the best solution, I remember while in the university I used to have a friend back then we were close to an extent but unfortunately it became obvious that she was only with me because of what she was benefiting, I happen to be a reserved person who likes to be on her own most times but this person saw it as an opportunity to Leach on me. Subsequently I began to notice that there were no boundaries or privacy, it was a relationship of take and take rather than give as you take. So once I began to see that it was a one-sided relationship I had to step back, reevaluate the whole thing and distance myself. But still friends but not like before when she will come to my house take food stuffs, cook whatever she likes, buy stuffs on my account and so on.

The most important thing about friendship is the ability for two people to build a relationship that brings about a negative impact on both lives rather than being one sided. And this can apply with friendships between male and female or just between one dominant gender. This is why it is advisable especially in toxic relationships for the victims to work away because it is unhealthy and can lead to mental stress and depression.

A human being can be the architect of problems in another human's life that is why choosing of friends should be a careful thing rather than something to rush into. Some people are in your life to steal and drag you back why others and in your life to make positive impact and elevate you beyond your reasoning.
