I love the part where you say that you can't afford it, generally people with money problems often don't understand even if they have the money to buy something, buying it would be a "financial" mistake. The "funny" thing is that there are people who, without having the money they buy them with credit :S
When I was growing up I always reproached my mother (when I was a child and I wanted to wash the dishes you told me no, now that I'm older and I don't want to wash the dishes you tell me to wash them) so I think it's great that you give your son the opportunity to wash the car, I believe that children should not be discouraged when they want to do a productive activity just because of their "age."
My youngest is nearly 20 now. All my kids were encouraged to take things apart and see what makes them tick and I never discouraged it. Now they both work in a shop repairing electric scooters, unicycles and motorcycles. The older one has made shop manager in less than three years.
The "afford" part is mostly that I cannot afford to claim crypto in any quantities because the old folks in the government do not understand it and would tax it incorrectly. Nothing is in my name, not even this account on Hive.
That's good, I think that most people's curiosity and imagination are repressed as children, many times parents intone "because I said so or because that's how things are" and we grow like sheep in a flock.
I hope those uncontrolled taxes are reduced with the new government. (I think he has good intentions, let's see if he succeeds)
