Fashion Illustration 014 - Blue Dress with Star and Chain Detail

Greetings!

This one took a while to draw.

A short blue dress with structured bodice and plunging neckline. Decorated with gold coloured star and chain embellishments.

Drawing Process - Old sketch to digital Illustration

Digital drawing. I am slowly gaining more confidence as I keep experimenting with the digital format.

The process video, I suspect there must be a way to zoom in on the small details of the drawing as they are added, but this needs some fiddling about with still.

Some small details and experiments with interesting brushes. There is still so much to learn but it seems like even the most basic free version of the drawing app can do some pretty interesting things, once you start getting used to it. I will always prefer traditional art, but this is proving to be quite entertaining. Also helps get around the awful issue of being very close yo running out of paper.
