Hello and happy Friday! (Finally)

Today, I am way behind on everything I have to do...Sometimes I end up getting obsessive over finishing a drawing, I love that feeling, even if it keeps me from doing stupid things like folding the washing.

As a long time Nirvana fan, I have wanted to draw Kurt Cobain for a while now. This first attempt isn't super perfect, but I like it well enough for now.

I chose an easy pose! His hair was still difficult to draw, so I ended up making it a lot less messy than it was on the reference image.

Because I am running super late (and a little bit sick again, frigging school germs) I will keep this post short.
Not much to say about this drawing either way! Except for the hair detail taking ages, it was quite easy and simple to draw and paint. I did end up finishing yet another black gel ink pen. Ugh, the damn things never last.

This was also my fist attempt at painting smoke! So that was fun. What do you guys think, does it look okay at least? Haha, I am pretty happy with it as a first attempt.
