Pages From My Sketchbook - Figures Amongst The Flames

Greetings Friends

This took a while to finish as I somehow managed to injure fingers on both my hands. It also resulted in messier than usual hatching but at least it did not keep me from drawing.

It isn't the best sketch as I initially started it only as an idea for a painting. (which I might still do) Sometimes it is fun to just draw for the sake of it without obsessing over it looking a certain way. I am trying to do more of that lately.

While there is a lot to say about this one, it is also the kind of drawing that needs the viewer to make their own interpretation, so I'll leave it at that.
