History of the area fascinating, thanks for posting!

Water falls and hikes in the region are deceptive, level of fitness in body/mind required. What is spectacular is something different around every corner, hidden valleys and pools, most time very quiet with few exploring (even when we were young).

Sad to see so many selling up old farmsteads that have been in families over many years, find out more and share, thanks.

Thanks!
Yes, definitely need a much higher level of fitness for this one! Hoping to be able to go find out more soon, before they sell. Hope you will have a lovely day, thanks for reading. :)

Would be good to visit the owners try find out the history, so much history now being lost or simply buried.

Hello! Why did I lose track of you when you have been posting all this time? Let me make sure to "favourite" you so I can follow you properly!

How's the NW? Cape Town is sweltering at the moment!

Hi, been a while! I've only been posting regularly for the past few months, might be why😅 also thanks!

Same here in NW, been using the fan for the first time in years. No nice beaches like in Cape Town though!

I wonder if someone is hunting that area and that is why all the fruit is there. Someone could have been 'baiting game' with it.

Such a neat place by the way!

It is certainly possible! All I know is that it seemed strange, as that area is very difficult to get to and a ways of from the actual trial. Probably another thing to ask the owners about. 😁

Yeah! All the more likely reason it could be hunters. I also had the thought that it could be the wildlife itself hoarding food... but it all looks so tidy.

Also I gotta say again that you did a fantastic job figuring out the image compression!

Not sure if this is related somehow, though I suspect it might be...but I also found a few spots covered in loads of candle wax like this close to the area with the fruit. Not sure if it confirms the hunter theory.

Ahhh! Maybe not hunters! Witchcraft or some equivalent thereof maybe?

So intriguing!

Definitely something I'd enjoy looking into some more! 😁 This place just keeps getting weirder.
Thanks for your thoughts on this.
