Creative processes endure over time when we forget about immediacy. Ideas mature with reflection and a great deal of patience, visualising and evaluating possible decisions. That is how creativity works from my perspective. Things are created twice, first invisibly, in the mind, and then we bring them into reality; we anticipate from the mind. Therefore, every detail and decision counts for the final work; there are always bigger stories behind what we usually see.

Tuve la oportunidad de trabajar con K´nela Pastelería. Varias reuniones dieron el impulso al inicio de este viaje que luego continuó en la pantalla y con investigación. I had the opportunity to work with K'nela Pastelería. Several meetings gave impetus to the start of this journey, which then continued on screen and with research. The façade of the premises and part of the interior space were waiting to be filled with my proposal. With the passage of time and experience, I have found it necessary to create photomontages so that the client can appreciate and visualise the idea in a more tangible way. Each decision is presented for detailed evaluation and consideration: Does it work or does it not work?

Para K´nela el objetivo era muy claro: hacer el lugar más vistoso y llamativo. For K'nela, the goal was very clear: to make the place more eye-catching and appealing. It had been established that many people were familiar with the brand and even consumed its products, but did not know exactly where the place was located. Bringing the idea to life meant imbuing the façade with the brand's identity. The printing machine worked its magic, turning digital ideas into physical reality—a true transformation. Seeing my ideas come to life is a very exciting experience, witnessing how the invisible manifests itself line by line on the vinyl.

Finally, the installation provides a majestic finish. Appreciating the before and after reveals the satisfaction gained from the effort and dedication. Now the story is different when you see the façade of the bakery, which is completely transformed, inviting and showcasing the brand's identity, even though the logo is still missing from the display window. However, with what has already been installed, the space has been transformed, a total change. Seeing this, I appreciate the value of respecting creative timelines, something I consider to be of vital importance.

It is definitely designed before sitting down at the computer. Do not improvise; rather, develop the idea responsibly. Improvisation may solve some things in the moment, but unfortunately, it does not transcend, and ends up being a poor investment over time. ‘Design with intention’ is the phrase that sums up my experience.
